I have never seen such unprofessional business women in my life. These women talked on the phone while doing peoples hair. They walked outside to talk to their friends while people sat in the chair waiting for their hair to be finished. They talked in there native language mixed with english and talked about the customers while using profanity. They took lunch breaks while people waited for their hair to be finished. Needless to say, I will never go there again. There were also to other ladies in the shop the day I went and they both said they will never go to the Durham store on fayettville. They are very rude and very unprofessional!

QUALITY BRAIDS – I have been to both the Durham (Fayetteville ST) and Raleigh locations and have been satisfied every time. The staff has always been friendly. They work quick and the braids turn out GREAT!! They can work with almost any length. I came into the shop in Raleigh after growing my hair back from a short style and was surprised when one of the ladies said she could actually give me micros.

Idk why some of the women all calling the staff rude for talking in their native language. It's not important to be in their conversation while getting your hair styled.

I would recommend this AWB to anyone who wants quality braid styles that last.

Not Worth It Ever Again – I have been getting my braids done at both the raleigh and durham shop for a while now. All the times that I have been to the durham shop they have never ever opened it on time. It is suppose to open at 10 oclock. To me that is kind of late to open any shop doing hair but hey its there business so they can choose the time BUT PLEASE be on time. I know things happen But like I said they have never opened on time as long as I have been going. Another thing is that the floor is always nasty and the women are very rude. I was getting my hair braided the other day and I know micros take a long time and I don't have a problem with that the problem I had was that the ladies that were doing my hair had about 4 more braids to do and do you know what they did? They took a lunch break! Iknow they have a right to a break but 4 More braids? They couldn't finish 4 more braids and get me out the shop so I could go about my way! Then when they came back from break and finished my hair they have to plaid it in big braids and dip it in hot water. I know that the women new I was heated about them not finishing me up so I was sitting there waiting for my hair to be dipped in the water so that I could go but no one was dipping so I asked one the ladies coud I get it done so I could go and she told me with a smirk that they were waiting on hot water!!And one of the women doing my braids coughed on me the whole entire time. I thought I was being nice by giving her a piece of gum. Then I break out my lunch (grapes) she asked me for some so I gave her some. She talked on the phone almost the entire time while coughing on me and was just kinda of rude! If I am paying $190 dollars to get my hair done I would like a little respect. Do I expect them to kiss my butt? No ! But at least show me a little respect. The only thing I can say good is that my braids turned out good but look what I had to go through to get it as if paying $190 dollars was not enough. I WILL NOT GO BACK!

banging braids – they will hook your braids up (micros/ nappy

twists) but i don't like the ladies. appointments dont matter, but you will walk out fly and satisfied! i've been there about six or seven times.

pricey but good – this may be the most expensive hair braiding salon I've visited, but their quality is great. Nice athmosphere; extensive expertise.
