Wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff at Sam Choy's provided a delightful dining experience, oftentimes going above and beyond the call of duty. They accomodated a very-last-minute reservation time change, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our servers were exceedingly attentive; moreover, they exuded genuine warmth, which was a pleasant change from the typically artificial sweetness displayed by servers at comparably priced restaurants. The food portions were surprisingly generous and tasted truly "scrumptrulescent." We left the restaurant 100% happy.

User review by whirltwirl. Ate here last Saturday night and was very disappointed. It came recommended not only in Frommer's, but by our hotel concierge.

It took half an hour to receive water from when we ordered as we sat downSeveral items on the menu not availableand a 55 minute wait for the food to arrive. After complaining of the wait, the food was brought by manager. Cold. Was also never given a refill on my water, or asked if I'd care for anything at all.

If the place had been busy, there might have been an excuse. But there were many empty tables, and none with large parties. Food was marginal at best. Do not waste your time or money on this place.
