One to keep – I have been a client of Security Force for about 3 years now, when I came on board I used this venue to research them. I asked about whether they sell their contracts off and their explanation was they used to be affiliated with this company SafeHome but they had since ceased that relationship with Safehome and now every client they installed was their own client. I decided to sign on with them and since them have had nothing but a good experience. Every time I have needed service, I called them, and they responded with a live person everytime and had a technician to my home within 24 hours. Also there seems to be alot of talk on this venue about the contract automatically renewing, that is is standard policy with all these companies. I had ADt in the past and theirs renewed automatically and so does Security Force. It seems like that is just something that the security industry does so maybe everyone should just make sure they read their documents and then no blame the company when something happens that is in writing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, they are alot better with their service than our last system with ADT and the equipment is much nicer also. Every technician I have had at my house has been thorough and professional. Since I have come on with them, 3 of my family members have switched to them and all of my neighbors.
Sounds to me like Kathryn2010 has buyers remorse and is just mad at life. This is by far the BEST company i have done business with EVER. I have never had an issue with my business or home account. I have recommended Security force Inc to many friends and family who agree that they are in fact a wonderful company. A tech would not call you to set up a service the monitoring company does, so personally i think Kathryn is making up stories.
Horrible Service – Horrible service. First of all they suckered me into signing up with them by saying on the phone you won an alarm system now the thing doesn't work. Four times I emailed and called them to ask them to fix the alarm so there is no more "system phone communication failure" and I keep getting the run around. We will have a tech call you back is the usually answer but the tech never calls back. I strongly recommend against using this company for your alarm needs.
Buyer beware they will sell your contract to another monitoring company without your knowledge and the promises and quality of service that were originally promised will not be upheld. They sold our contract to Safe home that sends police out around an hour after the alarm and does not call through our device to make sure everything is ok like originally promised. Make sure you make them write in your contract they will not sell your service to another alarm company!! Bait and Switch!
This company is a scam! Do not have service with them any longer after 3 years. Contract automatically renews if you do not send a letter of cancellation 60 days prior to the end date of your contract period. Ex: Installed 5/2010 for 36 months & since they did not receive a letter by March 2013 they automatically renewed the contract for another 12 months without any type of notification. Sorry Company! Not for the consumer Only in business to make Money! Awful Company!
Ive been a customer for 5 years and since Security Force switched thier customer service from the company they used (Safe Home Security), and started taking care of me on their own, which was about 2 years ago, Ive been completely happy with the service they provide me. Their staff is professional and courteous.
I would recommend Security Force to anyone who needs an alarm system!
Stay far, far away from this company. They will sell your security contract out to some other company after they've convinced you to sign a 3 year agreement. The company they sell your contract to will provide the worst service ever, yet Security Force, Inc will hide behind the line of "We don't own your contract anymore, so it's not our problem".
WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH – iI RUE THE DAY I SIGNED ON WITH THIS COMPANY. My alarm system stopped working 3 months ago and I have called in MULTIPLE times to correct the problem and got NO RESPONSE back. Finally I called in to say just cancel my account because I am tired of the run-around and I'm tired of people saying that they will do something about it but then don't. One representative said I could cancel services, and that I just need to send in a written request. Then within 5 minutes, they put me on with someone who is supposed to resolve problems, and he said that I can't cancel because I did not give written notice 60 days in advance of my original 3 year contract running out...which ran out several months ago. After getting shuffled around from person to person, getting someone's voice mail, calling back and having to explain my circumstance to every new person I talked to, I spent roughly an hour on the phone talking to several different representatives, and with the exception of one, they were arrogant and un-helpful, as goes the culture of that company. So no one is willing to do anything to let me get away from this hell-hole of a company. I FEEL LIKE A PRISONER OF THIS COMPANY AND I CAN'T GET AWAY FROM THEM. IT'S A NIGHTMARE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A COMPANY WHO HAS A GOOD RAPORT WITH THEIR CUSTOMER BASE
COMPANY IS A SCAM – This company is a scam!! I was told in 2007 when I signed up that it was a yr contract. Called in to cancel to only find out that my contract is for 3yrs and it automatic renews itself. Its Nov 2011 and I have been trying to cancel my service for the last 2-3yrs and they keep forcing me into another contract and this time the CROOKS just automatic renewed my contract after I called in Sept 2011 and spoke to Rosie to confirm I was all set to Cancel, she informed me yes and "there's nothing else I needed to do on my end". Only to get a phone call from their RUDE customer serivce dept today on behalf of the manager Justin in the billing dept that my Contract has automatic renewed itself and its nothing I can do about it but pay the darn BILL another 12months! They were rude and very inconsiderate of anyting I had to say. Wouldn't even allow me to Cancel and pay a penalty bc they make more money of customers by automatic renewing u!!
Cheaters!! – I have had my system for about 4 years, I am very upset at the fact of how the contract automatically renew themselves for a period of 3 years. I wrote my termination form and faxed it in to the company. They recieved it about 9 days late to meet the 60 day prior to renewal date. I have moved from my rental house and could take the system, but I am still having to pay 39.99 a month for 3 more years and I not even in the home. They will not release me from the contract. They will also service charge you for ALL maintence services. Low battery are 50.00 min. The alarm will beep and beep until you fix it, you are forced to fixed it right then or go crazy from the beeping. Every time that I have called in for any questions or services they first give you the run around and then once you finally talk to someone, they are rude! This businees does not try to achieve customer satisfaction, they try to trap you, and they will so read your contracts carefully!!
