New Owner, Old Style – I just went to Yuki's not to long ago because i was tired of eating all you can eat junk and remembered awhile back that Yuki san was the owner of this restaurant. i have been following him since he made his appearance at OM but sadly stopped going because he was no longer their. I decided to give this location a shot because i got wind that he was here. as soon as i walked in, i knew i made the right choice in coming hear because their he was, at the sushi bar being friendly to the customers around him. My experience there was great. the food was amazing as ever and good service as well. Upon talking to one of the managers, I found out about Yuki's story and who the previous manager was. From what i can tell that was not Yuki at all but some korean guy posing as the master chef. I strongly urge people to not read the following comments and come down to make up your own mind because i am 100% sure that the place is 2000 times better than what it use to be. YUKI IS BACK AT HIS OLD LOCATION!!!!

I think it is pronounced Yucky! – I have eaten sushi around the world and lived in Tokyo for more than four years. This place is absolutely the worst I have ever encountered. My wife ordered a salad. It came with a toothpick in it. I pointed this out to the waitress whos simply said "Oh". No apology. No nothing. The sushi was tasteless. I had to expel one piece because it had some kind of cartilage in it. The tai was served with a garlic dressing that was totally inappropriate. Helpful hint: If you want to know whether a sushi bar is run by Japanese, order "ocha" (Japanese green tea). If your waiter or waitress does not what that is ... walk out.

Fresh sushi and friendly service – Brought to this restaurant by a friend. Friendly staff and good service however we were only one of several couples in there so don't know what it would be like if it was crowded. The edamame was warm & salty, the the sushi was well prepared and presented nicely. The price was reasonable. I will go here again and would recommend it to other's.

Great sushi in a relaxed atmosphere – Yuki's is one of my favorite sushi restaurant in Tucson. The sushi chef, who I assume to be the owner, is always courteous and friendly to me. Great sushi is not based purely on taste (granted, that's is the most important aspect), but is also based on presentation. Yuki's has consistently deliver on both the taste and the presentation.

The decor isn't something to rave about, but is nice and inviting.

In terms of speed of service, that can be quite variable and is my only con about the place. When it gets busy, because it's essentially a one man (and women) show, they get a bit overwhelmed. However, the place is usually more on the quiet side.

AWFUL!!! – I attended Yuki's Sushi on a Wednesday late evening with NO other guests dining at the resturaunt, what-so-ever. Mr. Yuki, owner of the resturaunt I assume, YELLED and DISRESPECTED me as a paying individual of society among other paying customers. His sushi was warm, non-fresh, un-satisfactory, and un-SATISFYING. I have never experienced a situation as this; attending a resturaunt as server among other servers, this was a DISGUSTING resturaunt with AWFUL service, and AWFUL ownership. I do not recommend this resturaunt.

The owner literally yelled at me for voicing my concern, while explaining my situation. I recieved no RESPECT, and NO CONSIDERATION... AWFUL MANAGEMENT and OWNERSHIP.

Great Japanese for the money – This place is great! I only discovered Yuki's a few months ago, and I'm glad I did! I'm always seated promptly and treated very well when I visit. The Sushi Special ($12.95, 4 pc nigiri, 8 pc spicy tuna, 8 pc California roll) is a great deal. Their Japanese salad selection is great, better than any other sushi-ya in Tucson. The seaweed salad is fantastic. The dinner combinations are wonderful, 3 items plus rice and miso soup for under $16. You can always get in and out quickly. Try it, it's definitely worth it.

Great place – I usually sit at the sushi bar and the chef(s) are very friendly and attentive. I generally just ask for the chef to prepare whatever he wants and have never been disappointed. They have an incredible selection of premium sakes (not the hot junk) and ask chef Yuki about drinking sake with salt like a margarita. The fish is always perfect and there are a lot of other selections both cooked and raw.
