I have been going to Callie for about two years now, she is an amazing colorist, and always makes me a happy client when I leave. The staff has a great vibe, and it is a fun, yet relaxing way to get my hair done!
Great Salon! – Charming salon with a terrific group of talented stylists. Everyone is super accommodating. It has a great atmosphere and is reasonably priced. They are all outstanding with color and cuts. Book early!!
Exuberant Serv – So a lot of my girls go to this exquisite salon and their hair always looked so fabulous. I got so , I didn't ask what her last name was. When I get there for my appointment she charged me 50.00 for layering my hair. She also had the wrong color picked out so it was a complete mess. I was really hesistant to do my hair with her again but then I had another salonist work on my hair and I've never been satisfied with the exuberant expertise of service I received, going forward, I hope I go to this Salon for further visits.
Do not go here-Horrible Customer Service – I decided I needed to spice up my life and add a few lavender highlights in my hair. I called Mosaic and told them what I wanted and low and behold they told me they could get me in the very same day. I confirmed with the receptionist that they did indeed have the color I wanted and I headed down. I got there and saw stylist Callie who told me that they did not have the color, but she would go grab some purple dye and see me first thing the following morning. I agreed and left.
The next day I went in for my appt. and Callee told me that she thought it would look better if we "draped" the color in my hair. I told her she was the stylist and agreed. 4 hours later I had tons of purple in my hair, not the few chunks I had originally wanted. Callee told me the color would fade overtime. I left.
Three days later I got out of the shower and started blow drying my hair and my natural color hair had a GREEN tint to it. I immediately called Mosaic and told them this was not working out and I needed to be seen right away. The receptionist was nice and again got me a same day appt. and told me it would be taken care of free of charge.
Two hours later the co-owner, Patrick, called and asked me to explain the situation, I did and he told me to come in but that there would probably be an addition charge for the color correction. I explained that I thought it unfair to charge me a fee for a mistake that was not my fault. I asked for purple hair, not purple and green. He said the stylist said I was happy with it and that they were not sure if they could fix it because it might damage my hair. I explained I could live with temporarily damaged hair, but not with GREEN hair. He became slightly rude and asked if I wanted to keep my appointment. I told him no and that I would be going somewhere else to fix their mistake.
The gist of it:
A. Patrick is extremely unprofessional and needs to work on his customer service skills
B. I have never been to a salon that will not fix a mistake that they made
C. I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone, not even to my worse enemy...well maybe :)
Awesome Place – Nick gives the best haircuts. He pays attention to the little details and make sure you leave there fully styled. I have been to some places where they cut your hair, blow dry it a bit and send you on your way. Not this place. Thank you Mosaic!
Awesome Aubrey at Mosaic – Mosaic Salon is great, but this review is about my awesome hairstylist, Aubrey. Aubrey rescued me from a virtual disaster at the hands of a terrible "hairdresser," and I have been a loyal client for over four years now. She is talented, sweet, honest, and LISTENS. Aubrey does not try to push anything, and I receive compliments from total strangers about my hair. Astonishing, eh? She gives super cuts, great styles, and I would recommend her to everyone.
Tonya Gibbs is awesome! – Today I saw Tonya Gibbs and she was great. She was very educated, and acted like a professional but was also very personable. She took the time to look at my hair, evaluate the situation, and gave recommendations. She definitely knows her stuff. She did an awesome job on my hair, and I will definitely go back. The cut and color were a little pricey, but with experience I've learned that you usually get what you pay for. Her sister Tasha did my eyebrows and they look great. It was my first time having my eyebrows waxed and shaped, and I have to say I am already addicted. : )
Gaby is truly amazing!!! Waxing and facials are the best I've ever had!!! – Wow, I've been going to Gaby for waxing and skin care for almost 2 years. First of all, I love my brows. I'm a blond so she tints them a middle brown and then waxes them to perfection! I also get other waxing done and she does a quick, painless, and clean job. She uses a numbing solution on my bikini area....I sure it helps, I haven't tried a bikini without it and I don't want to! Now the best part...her facials. It is a total mind escape...everything from the massage to the aroma therapy. My skin has dramatically changed in the last year or so. It went from dry and lifeless to smooth and hydrated....people tell me I look a lot younger than before I had treatments done. Best of all she is a total sweetheart. I am so comfortable with her and she ALWAYS has a smile on her face. I highly recommend Gaby Antonucci for the best all around esthetics service.
Best Hair Salon "Sara Tittle ROCKS!" – I been looking for ahair salon to go to.I saw all the reviews for Mosaic Salon.I made appointment with Sara Tittle.I was very nervous.I have long thick hair.I wanted achange.I want to have aup to date style.I told her what I would like to have done. She also suggest some ideas.I had it pictured in my head what I would liked it to be.She took time to do my hair, not like other places were they don't take time. Her assistant was very nice & helpful.I loved the way she had done my hair.I never had it blowed ~out. She gave me tips on how to style it. SARA T. is very good.I LOVE my Hair. So,dose my family.I'll be going back to her.Posibly for some high~lights. But for sure to have my hair cut.It was worth the money & the wait to get in to see her.I think the front desk service people were nice.Everyone there looked happy, there was no rude people.I didn't see no one walking out disapointed. Anyone looking for anew Hair Salon.Should try this Salon out.It may cost more,But U get your moneys worth.I'm very happy mom. Cherie
Patrick is my HERO – Not only is Patrick awesome at cuts and highlights (he's so precise and my highlights look perfect every time!), but he's also drop dead adorable. I wish I were a gay man so I could flirt with this guy - he's precious.
I've never paid that close of attention to the rest of the salon. I know the bathrooms are a gawd-awful pink, but who cares. The work Patrick does makes any salon mistake forgivable, and he's worth every penny he charges.
