Good Pizza in Encinitas – The pizza is delicious and I get their caesar salad every time but be warred the reason I love it so much is because the lethal amounts of garlic involved in its creation. They offer a variety of creative pizzas made from fresh ingredients. Friendly staff and the menu is a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Mikey Said He Likes It – Took my family there. 3 adults, a 3 year old and a baby. Great time on the patio. Got out for under $40. We had a large puttanesca and were worried about anchovies, but were reassured that is a secret off-menu request, the default is sans fish (good for my allergic wife). The pizza bread was outstandingly rustic/authetic, crunchy nutty and hand-made, no mass-produced grid-pattern on the bottom. Probably cooked on hot rocks. My boy had penne (their only pasta, but this is what was really unclear on the menu) and seemed to like it. We 3 all shared a medium arugula and pear and walnut salad, nice as you might get at an upscale place for like $8. For parents: bathroom was neat and reasonably clean. The kids were not surly and seemed to be working reasonably hard, appreciated a tip. We will go again when in the neighborhood.

This Portland-based mini-chain serves up sophisticated slices. – In Short
Behind the street-side picture windows, the sleek decor of modern furniture and highly polished floors feels nothing like a typical pizza joint. In keeping with the visuals, the pies are upscale versions of their traditional cousins. Gourmet toppings like spicy shrimp and barbecued chicken are layered atop thin crusts brushed with olive oil and garlic. Rounding out the menu are fresh salads and paninis, complemented by local wines and microbrews.
