great food, a little pricey but worth it. not sure why citysearch mentions you need a reservation at least 3 days in advance because i made one for sat night the same day and the place was empty. and also not so sure its trendy or a night club. however, the food was spectacular and the service very attentive. the entrees are a bit overpriced but they were so good that i didnt mind. i got the halibut which is the best i have ever had. the fish itself was cooked to perfection and everything that came on the side was delicious. my friend got the shrimp curry which she said was the best meal she has had in a while. you should definitely try it out if you get the chance. you will end up paying ~$50 a head, though.

Love it!. The setting of the restaurant is very beautiful and has a nice realxing atmosphere to it. The service was spectacular. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu. She really gave great descriptions on how all the meals were prepared and what they consisted off. A very creative menu I must say. I went with 5 other friends and we all throught our meals were absolutely delicious! We kept putting bits of food on each others plates saying "you have to try this!" It was a lot of fun. Well worth the price you pay, I will definately recommend this to others in the future.

Missed the mark. While the concept is brilliant, foods from around the world on the same latitude as San Diego, the execution falls short. We started our meal with the Asian Duck Confit salad with grapefruit, jicama and candied pecans. I know duck is best rare, but this was dangerously undercooked and the fat from the duck coated the vegetables rendering them a soggy mess. The curried calamari wasn't bad although the server neglected to bring out the mango salsa mentioned on the menu. For an entree I had the pan seared halibut and cous cous. It wasn't bad mind you, but the fish was really underseasoned. for thirty bucks a plate, i'd expect a little more.

the exotic menu really gets your taste buds going, but the food just doesn't live up to the hype.

Wonderful, Ecclectic Food. Located in a trendy block of Mission Hills. The duck with gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the zataar Chicken was moist and favorful. I definitely recommend reservations. A great place for a romantic date.

Flavors and textures from around the world give locals a taste of Middle Eastern spice, Asian preparations and European elegance.. In Short
Geography buffs might recognize the connection between San Diego, Morocco, Lebanon, India, China and Japan: they all lie on the earth's 33rd parallel. This commonality between countries translates to a global-inspired cuisine fusing the exotic flavors native to each region. The dining space also reflects a mélange of cultures in its ornate detail and vibrant color. Globe trot to India for elegantly plated pan-seared shrimp curry with coconut basmati rice and crispy shallots.
