Barkely would say its Trrbl – There were tables reserved for a large group of us, but being game 7 of the 2010 NBA finals it was reasonable to to have to wait in line I guess. wait what?

Regardless of empty seats inside, reserved mind you, they weren't letting people in. They made people wait till half time before they finally shut the doors and told us in line to elave. But they did have their favorites and let some of those in.

Lesson learned. Reserve a table here, its not reserved. In fact, you have to wait in line and not be allowed when its too crowded with people that didn't reserve.

See, they don't understand the concept of a reservation. They can write down a reservation. Anyone can write down a reservation. The Corner Office however doesn't know how to hold a reservation. And to me, that's the important part-- the holding. 10 years after that Seinfeld episode and commercial enterprises still neglects to have learned that lesson. Go figure.

I ended up watching the first half of the game in line, from outside. Felt helpless to do anything however, as some of my friends were inside with empty seats next to them reserved for those of us waiting in line.

Oh, there isn't parking really, so be prepared to park in the paid lot across the street (1.25 for 20 minutes, 15 dollars maximum). I paid 5 dollars for parking to wait in line. SO worth it.

Normally I wouldn't rate the restaurant based on one bad experience. One is entitled to a few. But making people wait for (and eventually shut the doors on) a table they reserved is ridiculous and so egregious that I will not frequent this place ever again. In fact, I had to yelp this place to add to the growing list of bad reviews.

As a consumer, a yelper and citizen I just felt it was my obligation to let others know. I doubt it will do anything for their business, they are located in a prime spot with parking for 10 of their patrons, but a prime spot nonetheless. So they will reserve and turn back future customers, but I won't be that person. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu corner bakery.

Great Place to Grab a Drink – I love going to the Corner Office Bar after a quick shopping trip at South Coast Plaza. You are able to relax and enjoy a burger & beer at this layed back bar. They have TV's everywhere where you can watch your favorite sports teams or just watch everyone else at the bar! Never a disapointment when I stop in!

What's not to like? – This is probably the best place to go if you want to see practically any game. Tons of TVs and always a good time for big games.

Not only is the food great, but the menu options [burgers, wraps, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, fajitas, and tacos on Tuesdays, ] can satisfy pretty much any taste. They also have daily lunch specials Mon-Fri and they can get you in and out pretty quick if you are on a short lunch break.

The bar is HUGE and having TVs all around make any seat a good one. The bartenders are awesome, not the stuck-up d0uche bags that you are likely to find in most of Orange County. If you have been there more than once, the bartender is likely to openly remember your face, and in my case my name, drink and a suggestion for what I should try from the menu.

The juke-box definitely ads to the comfort level you get in the bar. Especially when the regulars are feeling rowdy, it can be pretty entertaining. You really can't go wrong with this place.

Absolutely Horrible – This is the worst place I have ever eaten at; really!!!

It tough to be the worst given all the lousy places there are to eat, but the CornerOffice has 'em all beat. The only place I have ever been to where I have literally had to "spit out my food".

The service was pathentic. Again another first, they took my credit card before I ordered my dinner!

The waitress never came back after I ordered, some else brought out my dinner at the same time as my salad ( diiner plate in one hand and salad in the other). Couldn't eat the salad, it was full of brownish lettuce, and some looked totally wilted, and then there was the dinner.......

Lots of tv screens, HORRIBLE service – My alumni group comes here to watch football games, and it's an ok place. It does have a lot of screens, but the service is the worst I've seen. It is impossible to get anything in a reasonable amount of time from the servers here. Usually, you have to go up to the bartenders to order anything or get a refill on water, soft drinks, etc. The food is about what you'd expect from a bar....not great, not the worst I've had...just ok. Mainly, it's the service that makes this place not on my list of places I'd go if I had a choice. I only go because I like to socialize with my fellow alumni.

Horrible service, gross food – If you want to get sick from the food this is the place to go. The drinks overall are good, except way over priced for a cocktail. You can go down the street for a much better atmosphere with the same priced drinks. If it's busy, don't expect anyone to stop and ask you if you need anything.

Go here if you want to feel like you are being a burden – Corner office is good for a drink or two. The reviewers that say that this is a good sports bar must have some low standards or they probably are the two or three waitresses that work at this sorry excuse for a sports bar. Yes, they have screens but as far as the sound is concerned, you might as well be deaf. Oh, and the service....there were two waitresses....yes, just two!!!!! serving quite a few customers. They treat you like you are being a burden. We had to ask multiple times just to get water. Ultimately, we ended up going to the bar just to get water. And at the end, we had to ask for the check (again, at the bar because attending to the booths is just too much walking) and our waitress from hell put the check on our table as she was walking by without so much as even acknowledging our existence. The food is nothing to write home about....nachos tasted burned and were third-rate quality. So, if you want a beer or two at the bar, it's probably ok....but as far as the feel of a welcoming sports bar, it's highly overrated and NOT RECOMMENDED! Save yourself the headache of going here and feeling like you actually are in a work office. The one thing I felt really good about at this place was the exit door.

Horrible service, ovepriced food, but multiple large screens. – I'll be to the point since it seems the Corner Office is being completely overrated here on CitySearch. If you just need a place to watch a game then Corner Office would probably be your haven of absolute last resort. To their credit they do have multiple 10ft projection screens broadcasting different games, LCD monitors at individual booths, and a variety of screens at the bar. However, don't expect to have audio with any of that video. Or for that matter don't expect good quality food or acceptable service from the staff. Food was overpriced by about 20% and of poor quality. Overpriced $7 movie theater nachos w/ cheese are a better value than the plate of bland, wholesale quality nachos they served at Corner Office. Of all the plates our group ordered, nothing merited the price and everything underperformed the most modest taste expectations. The young bartender and two waitresses were completely overwhelmed by the number of customers, wholely inexperienced, and audibly/ visibly disgruntled about their jobs. They complained out loud to each other, made disgruntled faces at customers, and give the impression customers were asking too much of them. It's not an exaggeration to say that if you want the waitress's attention you need to get out of your booth and stop her while she's walking around. So, If you want to get together with people and watch the game, drive three miles away to H00ter's Restaurant and feel better about how you're spending your money.
