Hard to recommend.

We, after moving to SF, were very happy to find a Korean restaurant near where we live.
Although not refined, we found the place not so bad.
We ordered Kalbi, Yook-kye-jang, and Doenjang-jigge. A lady there said that for one person portion they just cook Kalbe for us out of the kitchen.
As soon as side dishes were served after order placement, Kalbi was served in a hot plate, which was warm. Kalbi itself was not at all hot but just lukewarm, dried out, felt even brittle chewed. It's about 2 minutes after we placed an order. .
When we complained of this first, they didn't take any action. When we complained again, other guests looked around at us and then they took the dishes back in a hurry and let us grill raw kalbi directly. It took much much more time to cook meat in our table. Of course, it was better than the returned dish but less than mediocre Kalbi overall, horribly overpriced.
The bill prints out how much are 15% and 20% of the total amount.
Having expected a good Korean restaurant near our place, we left the place disappointed never intending to return.
User review by conoiseur. This place was clean and well ventilated. They have very good customer service, and everyone was quite friendly. The food was very good. The meat was well marinated, and the soup that comes with your meal was better than other korean restaurants I've tried. In all, this place was pretty damn good.
Excellent Korean BBQ. I've been looking for a place like this in SF, and actually stumbled upon it after exploring the Sutro. If you're not familiar, this is the kind of place where you order, they bring out 10 side dishes and you cook the meat on the grill which is right on the table (or they can do it in the back, but where's the fun in that?) The staff is very friendly, but English is not their strong suit, so you need to be patient and listen carefully. The BBQ beef was marinated to perfection, and all the side dishes were great, but not all are for the unadventurous. They gave us free spicy tofu soup and we ate like kings. Very tasty-very good.
Best Korean food in town!. Way out on Geary sits this complete gem of a restaurant. Simply the best Korean food you will find in San Francisco. The lunch deals are incredible, but in my opinion, you can't put a price on great authentic Korean food. If you like Korean definitely eat here.

if you want to eat best korean bbq, you should go this place. it is the best korean foods i ever have.
i love to eat short rib,tender beef and spicy tofu soup. the foods are so fresh and come out so fast.
also, you should try korean pizza that is called haemul-pajun.
it is really clean and nice korean restaurant.
the serive is good and people in restaurant are so friendly.
