Quick-service eatery sates ravenous appetites with monster burgers, milk shakes and more fast-food fare. – In Short
Since opening its first diner in the 1940s, this restaurant has developed into one of the most popular West Coast franchises, claiming industry innovations such as the drive-through window, partial-service dining rooms and their iconic Six Dollar Burgers--a line of oversized, sit-down restaurant-style hamburgers with Angus patties. Other hearty options abound, including steak-and-egg breakfast burritos, crispy chicken sandwiches and chili cheese fries to supplement standbys like onion rings and shoestring potatoes.
average food... – There's a mysterious intrusion into the floorspace of this particular location, seperating the counter/prep area & the dining room. Looks like it could be a (BIG) frieght elevator, but it doesn't stop on this floor.....this chamber has no windows and no doors. Beware the crazy lady ! "Can you spa cha ?" The food's allright, for Carl's. Service leaves something to be desired. Also, you may have to clean your own table.
Nothing too different, food wise, about this Carl's. The grilled onion bacon cheeseburger is pretty good. Watch out for the crazy woman who comes in and asks the customers for change.
