great draft beer @ good prices – 2 happy hours with house beer made by firestone walker brewery .... one of the best ipa's @ a happy hour price. good messy cheeseburgers -- tuna fish sandwich with chips & cold beer -- what could be better. i notice that restaurant is having some great guest craft beers without breaking the bank!

Great Happy Hour! – I came here after work one day with one of my coworkers and was pleasantly surprised. I have never been to Little Tokyo and came across this bar online. The food was amazing and very affordable and the service was great. I didn't have to wait long for my food and the bartender was very attentive. I definitely plan on coming back for lunch someday because they have lunch specials. Sweet!

HORRIBLY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! – Someone else here says they were cursed at. So where we! I wrote the owners about the worst customer service we ever experienced and they just sent back a one-line response. I don't even know if they intend for this sort of thing NOT to happen again. I don't even know if this is not just the way they like to do business.

If you don't want to be abused... then don't bother with this place....

There are too many great places in L.A. to waste money here. – This establishment will serve you a canned beer, slam a warm glass on your table, and walk away. Don't ask for a chilled glass. It will totally piss off both of the bartenders. I gave them a several chances and came back about 4 more times. Not enjoyable. My friends were so offended by the rudeness of the staff that they asked me if they could leave. How could I blame them? When I asked the server if he was aware that he was acting aggressive and he acted like I spoke a foreign language...like a child who does not understand big words. It was the most bazaar interaction...aside of the situation of being a customer...that I was sure that they are not concerned if you don't like the service. It's not just that they are rude but simply stupid people over 30 stuck in a job they hate. Also, if you ask for a manager, the person you are speaking to will claim to be the manager. Every time. It's like a rule they have. Minimum wage high school drop outs who need free beer I am guessing. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS BREWERY unless you are ready to treat them like scumbags. That is what they expect anyway. Sad.

THE OWNER WAS DRUNK AND CURSED "F#@K YOU!" TO THE CUSTOMERS – It is really really bad that the OWNER of this restaurant (little Tokyo) has a drinking and temper problems...and he is in the service business? The owner was really upset about the messiness at the men's restroom as my friend stepped in so he started shouting at him because he thought he could. A few minutes later i saw the owner came to our table DRUNK with 3 security guys to kick my friend out with "F#@K YOU!" out loud from his mouth...DON'T EVER GO TO WEILAND if you are thinking to make visit there!

good happy hour!! – happy hour was good!! i had some friends who suggested weilands in little toyko. so we went after work. like a pre- bacholorette party with friends/co-workers from work. i never been so i am up for anything that is delicious and cheap. i was kinda turned off by paying for parking $6 but i guess they gotta get you somehow. heh. anyway we got seated right away but i hear it can get pretty busy. our waitress was extremely nice but service was slow which she came back to apologize for. myself i had a keylime martini and some tropical drink. the tropical drink was way better than the keylime martini. we ordered some garlic fries which were delicious sooo good that we had 3 orders heeh, and some calarmi, which were ok. well my 2 friends drank at least 7 drinks and then took it to the karoake bar across the street and then drank somemore at the end of the nite one of my friend's regurgetated the garlic fries ALL up on the side of her car but then FUN TIMES HAD BY ALL HEHE

Crowded Happy Hours, Good Beer, Good Prices – Went to this place on a Friday around 5:30pm to check out their happy hour. Nice! It was crowded and we got the 2nd to last table in the restaurant area because the bar area was packed. The crowd was court/city/county employee-like, so a semi professional mostly younger crowd. House beer is the only thing discounted, no happy hour prices on anything else, but they have 4 different house beers for $2.50 a pop which wasn't too bad. Appetizers, garlic fries and onion rings were not overly impressive but were not too expensive and the burger my friend ordered was alright. Didn't really check out any other food, but the menu prices weren't bad, topping out at like 15 to 18 bucks for a steak. Lots of people watching to do and the crowd seemed ready to mingle. Definitely recommend this for an early happy hour. It's actually good to see people out boozing it up early!

Beer~! – The best hangout place ever! My friends and I would go there every Monday for their late-nite happy hour. The waiters and bartender were great to talk to, their beers were great, the appetizers tasty (loved the garlic fries and chicken quesadilla), and their martinis were yummy (canteloupe was my personal favorite). At first I thought the place was only good for beer and appetizers, but when I tried their entrees (I've had their burger, halibut, spinach salad, etc), OH MY GOD! They were pretty darn tasty. I admit the food did take a little long sometimes, but a nice glass of their hef will fill that void nicely. And you can't blame them... I've only seen two people working the whole kitchen for a huge crowd that has been drawn in by their $2 beers. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go for quite some time now, but I sure hope it is still the same when I go again.

Bad Service; Burnt Food with No Apologies – What's going on with this place?? I'd eaten at WBR before and the food had been pretty good, so I took some coworkers there for lunch a few weeks ago. We told the waiter that we had to be out in about 55 minutes and ordered some burgers and a seared ahi sandwich. After waiting about 40 minutes, we noticed that patrons that had sat down after us were getting their food. When we inquired as to the status of our order, the manager rudely responded that "food takes different times to cook" (even though the orders coming out were similar "burger" dishes) but said he would check for us. It quickly became apparent that our order had been lost (waiters were called over, people looked stressed). Instead of letting us know, we were ignored by the manager while the kitchen presumably scrambled to get us our food. When we got our food finally, we had less than 10 minutes to eat. At this point, the manager whined to us that the kitchen was "mad" at him for the situation (don't know whether this was supposed to make us feel better). There was NO apology, the "lightly seared" ahi was BURNT BLACK on one side and cooked through. No comp of any sort to redeem the pathetic situation. We ate (we were starving at that point) and quickly left. The burgers and garlic fries were decent taste-wise, but we obviously left with a bad taste in our mouths. When a LA restaurant messes up royally and are super-rude on top of that, there's no excuse... I advise that you take your business somewhere else.

Bad Service, Unsanitary Conditions – My friends and I eat at the downtown location. We found a living and moving green creature in our lunch salad. We were horrified. It was large, like a mix between a moth or grasshopper. The manager didn't charge us for the food and we left immediately, so we can't comment on taste. We were however disgusted when our waiter said "no need to pay, but please tip."
