Scott offered a very personalized service by really listeneing to what I wanted. He was patient and knowledgeable. I only drive VW, so I made several visits to test drive different models and he shared all the latest features with me, so that I understood the differences between now and then, and the different options available to me.

I was looking for a Volvo Used Car for my 16 year old daughters first car, Stevens Creek had one for sale. I asked them over the phone to bring to up the street to the Volvo Dealer to check out for me. Smythe Volvo wrote a report and it helped in my purchase of the car. The Dealership was friendly and has contacted me multiple times to make sure we were happy and to offer their services.
I recently purchase my volkswagen passat from Stevens Creek. They deserve 5 stars! They were very patient and kind and had a low key approach. I felt very comfortable here and not pressured to buy a more expensive model. I would most definitely recommend Stevens Creek VW!!!
The service department is GREAT! I have taken my GTI here for its 30k and 40k services.
For my 30k service, I dropped it off in the evening and it was ready by 10:30 the next morning. Amazing! I was charged even less than the estimate for the service which was a great surprise. I had complained that the door was not locking properly, and they replaced the door's locking mechanism for free as it was covered under my warranty.
For my 40k service, I also dropped it off in the evening and the plan was for it to be ready by the close of business the following day. The service team member called me around 10am to let me know that they had to order a part and my car would not be ready until Friday. So many times I have taken cars to a mechanic, and they wait until 4pm to tell me that my car won't be ready as planned. I really value that the service team at Stevens Creek VW called me right away to tell me what was going on. They also offered me a complimentary loaner car, which made my life a lot easier. My car was ready by noon on Friday, and the estimate price for the service was accurate. A different problem (also covered by the warranty) was fixed--that's what they needed the part for.
Both times the service team members have been so nice and friendly. I never had to wait to drop off my car, and the wait time was minimal when I had to pick up my car.
The only reason I don't give them a 5-star rating is because dealership service prices tend to be higher than other mechanic's. Sometimes they have coupons online, so check out their website for possible discounts. Since my car is under warranty, I plan on going to Stevens Creek VW for my car's needs.
We got our TDI here a few years ago and they have always been great. They were the lowest priced VW dealer in the bay and we were able to easily agree on a price online before we ever went to the dealership.
5 Stars hands down!! Here's why: About a week ago I was driving around in my KIA Sorento and realized " This car is robbing me of my soul". I've always driven sporty cars and not sure what was running through my mind when my wife and I decided to buy a KIA.
I've always liked the VW GTI, so the wife and I decided to go take a look at one. We walked onto the lot and we were met by a salesman. Typically this is the part of the story where I start getting angry, because overall I can't stand car salesman....but this guy was a little different. He was nice, not pushy at all....when he offered to let us test drive it, he just threw us the keys and told us 'have fun'. This was starting to blow my mind.
After the test drive (which was awesome, great car!) We went into his office to talk a few numbers. We did not buy that day, no fault on their part...I was just being indecisive. After we got home and being forced to drive the 'soul-stealer' a few more times, I decided it was time to regain my dignity and so we decided to start negotiating with Scott.
This is the great part, all of the rest of the negotiating was done via email while I was at home on my couch. Scott not only negotiated an unbelievably great price for us (under dealer invoice of course). But he gave us an awesome price for our KIA (AKA...soul-stealer). On top of that VW factory was offering 0% for 60mo's. There were no downsides to this entire deal!
When it was time to go in to make the deal, it was BY FAR the easiest car buying experience i had ever had....EVER! We walked in, waited for about 5 minutes for the finance office, signed all of the paperwork that Scott had already prepared, and drove away in our brand new 2012 GTI!!!! We were in and out in 30 minutes!!
My hat is officially off to Scott, his sales manager and the rest of the staff at SC VW. I have never had a car buying experience like this. Do yourself a favor and call SC VW, ask for Scott.....and drive away happy.
