I don't put a lot of stock into bad reviews. I believe in forming my own opinion based on my own experiences. I said that to say, my experience that I have with Pinnacle Community Services, has been nothing but great! I have a child in one of their homes. The staff in the home is very polite and helpful every time I call. If there is a question about anything that I have that they can't answer, they are very quick to get me to the right person that can help. The supervisor over that home has been very helpful to me as well. I love the fact that my child's needs are being met . I have even went so far as to make many unscheduled visits to the home that my child lives in. My child is very capable of speaking and letting me know if anything was wrong or if there was any mistreatment. It has been quite the opposite. My child is very happy with the home and the staff. That makes me very happy with Pinnacle Community Services!
Most of these review had to have been written by disgruntled employees who no longer work for the company, or work there but can't get their way! I currently work for Pinnacle Community Services, I have been employed there for over eight years.I cannot believe how fast people would go to slander the name of the company. Working for that type of place is only hard if you make it. I am totally disgusted and offended at the people that have something to say sorry people and their families working there. I am a relative to a couple employees at that establishment and that no way affects the quality of my work. Plus there is no way 300+ people could be related at this company so people should kill it work the "you only get hired if you're related" crap!! You got hired...sorry it didn't work out!! I enjoy having to assist those people in their daily lives until they can effectively do it independently. Many people look as this job as just a paycheck. There's your mistake there. You have to have compassion and understanding to work with mentally disabled adults, and I've seen that displayed all around at this company, from upper management to support staff. This is a great place to work if you enjoy helping others.
Quality Services – I see most of the reviews here are clearly former disgruntled employees. I have been employed with this company for over seven years. I have had a great experience. I make a difference in the lives of the people I work with. I have seen a lot of employees come and go. When they get let go for a valid reason they become angry because they know they are not going to be able to get a job anywhere else because they are so ingnorant and stupid. They should drug test these idiots before they hire them. The DRAMA that is created is by the stupid employees who have nothing better to do. If you come to work and do your job everyday you will not have any problems.
THIS COMPANY NEGLECTS AND ABUSES MENTALLY CHALLENGED ADULTS! – I am currently an employee of Pinnacle Community Services. I have been assigned to work at the day program, SUMMIT DAY PROGRAM. Where i have witnessed employees physically abuse and neglect mentally challenged clients. There is ridiculously poor management in charge of these people. Lead management personnel that is NOT professional, NOT well-trained, and NOT literate. Anytime members of your upper management CANNOT SPELL or WRITE legibly, shows that priorities are not set correctly. Promotions and advancements are granted to those who are socially compatible with existing managers. NOT appointed by WORK PERFORMANCE. There is an incredibly HIGH TURNOVER of staff, and the social moral between employees is intense an negative.
Employees are constantly harassed, mistreated and threaten with being fired for personal reasons. Management is majority women of color. Who display extreme jealousy and discomfort when other female staff or outside women present themselves. Employees are manipulated by superiors, and are skeptical about reporting the abuse, neglect, and unfair treatment that goes on behind closed doors. Former employees that have chose to report abusive treatment to clients, have been unfairly targeted, and fired.
The company promises new potential clients vocational training, social outings, and fun events. Once enrolled, clients sit inside small rooms and are rarely taken out into society. Non-Verbal clients are physically abused daily, and are subject to illegal restraint tactics used by employees. Clients are being charged high prices for meals cooked by management, and served very small portions. I thaught we were here to enhance the lives of people in need. Instead this company is taking clear advantage of handicapped individuals, and nothing can be done to stop the mistreatment. I feel morally terrible for silently watching the abuse,neglect, harassment, and discrimination taking place. However, I am a single parent, with bills and financial obligations to pay. I cant afford to lose my job or have my name flagged or banned from working in this field.
They will get you fired – they will say and do and anything to get you fired DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB IF THEY DO HIRE YOU YOU WONT BE THERE FOR LONG
A place with the worse mgt. ever – I work for this company & i agree with smithsmith5 if your not related to/or good friends with mgt. they will do anything to get you out,& the way the clients are treated isnt that great either.but who cares as long as mgt. has their fam members working all is good????????????????????????????????
this place sucks....don't wast your time – This is definitely not a place i would suggest to anyone to apply for. This place is like a family business. If you are not a relative of an employee there, you might not get a job. the place is horrible.
Not a place to work or leave a loved in charge of. – As a place to work and for clients this place is incredibly unprofessional and very shady. High turn over rate for employees for that same reason.
