A Must Do when in vegas! – I was in Las Vegas with my family and had several experiences where Cashman Photo was there to capture my family and my picture.
We stayed at NY, NY over a weekend. When I unpacked, I couldn't find my camera. I called the front desk to ask where the nearest camera shop was and I was suprised to be directed to a store within the hotel called Photo Magic. Being in Vegas, I expected an over priced camera shop, but when in the store, I found a great selection of cameras at very reasonable prices. The store associate helped me choose a great camera at a great price to ensure I didn't miss a moment on my vacation. The store also had fun fantasy type pictures that my wife and daughter did while i purchased the camera- What fun!
Later in our trip, we of course went on the NYNY rollar coaster and saw Cashman Photo there capturing the ride photos. The pictures were great and reasonably priced. They are now proudly displayed at home.
When you visit Vegas, chances are, you will run into a Cashman photographer to capture a great memory. Don't pass them up!
Dishonest Company – beth89103, you are a dishonest company. You come here and rate yourself as 3 stars in response to a review about your double billing? Shame on you! You said yourself you don't issue credit unless you are told to do so by the credit card company, in order to protect everyone. First of all, no customer needs to be protected from having a credit issued to their card. If anyone wants to issue a credit to my card, I will be happy to receive it. By "everyone" you mean only YOU. Don't you keep records of your billing? Can't you simply look up the double billing and issue a credit to card that was double billed? There should be no concern about protecting anyone unless you have sloppy or non existent bookkeeping. Now you are apologizing and offering to fix the problem, against your own policy, only because someone posted an honest review. This was not an error or misunderstanding. All credit card companies require their customers to attempt to get the matter resolved with the merchant first. You simply refused because it is against your policy to do so. I already went to the time and trouble of putting this double billing in dispute with my credit card company so your offer to fix it is worthless. You wanted me to do it your way so I did. Let this be a warning to anyone planning on having photos taken by this company. As you know they can be quite expensive, especially for things such as a wedding. How would you like to charge them to your credit card, only to be charged extra fees and fines by your credit card company for exceeding your credit limit should you be double billed?
great customer service – Just wanted to comment how helpful your staff is. Me and my wife went to Cher for our 25th anniversary and had to leave right after the show called the office the next day and donna was very friendly and helpful and we recieved our pictures and will cherish them forever. thanks donna
Sorry for the DoubleCharge – I want to apoligize for you being double charged. I want to take care of this as soon as possiable. Please give me a call at 1-800-776-5844. I will make sure that this is resolved. I'm sorry we did not take care of this promptly for you I just have a policy to have the customer contact our credit card company to despute the card so that it protects everyone. Again I apoligize for this and will get it taken care of as soon as possiable. I just need your information to resolve it.
Double Billed Me and Refused to Issue Credit – I had some photos taken by Cashman Photo Enterprise. When I received my credit card bill, I found that they had double billed me for the same pictures. I called my credit card company to dispute the extra charge and was advised to contact Cashman first in order to resolve it.
I contacted Cashman Photo Enterprises and spoke with Donna Diamant. I informed her of the double billing. Ms. Diamant told me that the only way to get the a credit issued for the erroneous charge was to contact my credit card company and put the charge in dispute. I told Ms. Diamant that I had just spoken to the credit card company and was told to contact the merchant in order to resolve the dispute.
Again, Ms. Diamant told me that they will only credit my card if they receive a dispute letter from
the credit card company. She said this is done in order to protect me from someone else trying
to get a credit issued to my credit card. When I told her she was lying, since no one needs
protection from having a credit issued to their credit card, she transferred me to her supervisor
Beth Gunn repeated Donna Diamant's statement that her company will only issue a credit for an
erroneous charge if they receive a letter from the credit card company stating that the charge is in
dispute. Once again I explained my call to the credit card company in which they requested I
try to resolve it with the merchant.
Donna Diamant and Beth Gunn both refused to resolve the problem. They wouldn't even attempt to
look up the account, erroneous charge, or any records regarding the transaction.
I have never had a problem with any other merchant refusing to look into this sort of problem and issuing a credit. The BBBdotorg also shows complaints against Cashman Photo Enterprise with regards to billing.
It is also interesting to note that the receipt issued by Cashman Photo had no contact information whatsoever. Not even the name of the company.
