Always Good for Me; No Complaints. This store is perfectly adequate and fits into the entire stripmall-like, somewhat rundown atmosphere of Central Park Ave. I do not expect much from a store with this appearance or in this location, but I have nearly always found what I needed here. I find the staff to be somewhat withdrawn, but perfectly pleasant and helpful when I ask for help. I buy here when I can because it is obviously a small privately-owned local business and I personally find the staff much more pleasant than, say, at a Target or other large chain staffed by actively hostile workers.

Nasty, nasty salespeople. The store looks like it is ready to go out of business and based on the way the staff feels that they can speak to customers it is not surprising. Both woman that I dealt with acted like they couldn't be bothered with me and when I was finally pushed to the limit and walked out of the store I said maybe you should be a little nicer to your customers the assistant manager said "maybe we need better customers". Maybe they need a lesson in customer service! I don't buy the "getting someone on a bad day". It is unacceptable. Got to Hartsdale Fabrics and Michael's. You will be better off.
