Cover too high; drinks too much and the techno was horrible – Cover charge was extremely high. $20.00 to hear techno music the entire night. The DJ did not take requests and the turnout was horrible. Most people didn't know how to dance to it and ended up standing around. It was very disappointing to say the least. I would recommend if you want to go to a good dance club, go to local places that play music you can dance to. There are newer ones that opened up in Utica as well.
Worst Casino ever visited – This Casino Is Bad News. I Know Many Firends And Family That Visit This Place And Not One Of Them Have Ever Won Any Money. Sitting There For Hours Just Hoping You Will Win Some Of Your Money Back That You Spent All Night. The Payout Is Rediculous And I Don't Believe It Is State Regulated. The Ceo Is Laughing All The Way To The Bank Because All Of Us Fools Are Visiting That Dump. The Payout Is Like .1% If That. Good Luck In Finding A Machine That Will Pay You Anything. Its Always I Could Of Won, Or Just Won More Number Blah Blah Blah.
The Bathrooms Are Always A Mess, The Up Keep Is Terrible. The Waitresses Are Miserable. Make Sure You Give Them A Tip Otherwise They Will Basically Flip You Off. They Don't Realize You Spend Alot Of Money There And You Can't Tip Every One. You Are Lucky Is You See One Through Out The Night. It May Be A Couple Of Hours Before They Come Off Their Break, Or Wherever They Are.
I Have Learned The Hard Way And Stay Away. I Don't Reccomend This Place To Anyone. It Is Terrible To Gamble There. Spend Your Money Elsewhere. Not To These People.
This Place Is A Joke-Save Your Money And Stay HomeTHIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I HAVE GONE WITH FIRENDS AND FAMILY AND NEVER AS ANY OF US WALKED OUT WITH MONEY. WE COULD SPEND A COMBINATION OF $300 TO $500 DOLLARS IN A NIGHT AND NOT WIN ANYTHING. THE PAYOUT IS IN THE CASINOS FAVOR. I KNOW ALL CASINOS THE CASINO ALWAYS IS IN FAVOR, BUT COME ON WHEN YOU GO TO TURNING STONE A FEW TIMES A YEAR, YOU WOULD LIKE TO AT LEAST BREAK EVEN OR WIN A FEW DOLLARS. THEY SUCK STAY HOME AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. YOU MINDS AS WELL THROW YOUR MONEY OUT THE WINDOW. THE SERVICE SUCKS, THE WAITRESSES ARE MISERABLE. MAKE SURE YOU TIP THEM BECAUSE THEY PROBABLY FLIP YOU OFF WHEN YOU TURN YOUR BACK, THATS IF YOU GET A WAITRESS TO COME AROUND. WE SAT FOR 3 HOURS BEFORE ANYONE CAME AROUND. ITS LIKE THEY ALL GO AND HIDE FOR A COUPLE HOURS THEN COME OUT. THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS MESSY, THERE IS TOILET WATER ON THE FLOOR AND THE TISSUE PAPER IS ALWAYS EMPTY. PEOPLE DON'T FLUSH AND ALOT OF PEOPLE WALK OUT AND DO NOT WASH THERE HANDS (GROSS) THEY ARE TOUCHING THOSE MACHINES. THEY NEVER DIENFECT THE MACHINES, IF THEY DO THEY USE A RAG THAT HAS BEEN USED ALL OVER THE CASINO. THIS PLACEIS JUST DISGUSTING EVERY INCH OF IT. I WISH IT WOULD CLOSE DOWN, BUT WE KNOW THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, THE CEO IS JUST GETTING RICHER AND RICHER FROM ALL OUR MONEY.
STAY AT HOME WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FORGET ABOUT THIS PLACE. IT IS EVIL.
Chippendales at Lava in Turning Stone! – I love seeing the Chippendales when they come since it always makes me feel good. My favorite skits are Tender Tortunerand Hero! The guys are so sweet and so easy on the eyes. Ladies you can't miss them when they come to Turning Stone!
The Oneida Nation's upstate megaresort accommodates golfers, gamblers, romancers and business men. – In Short
The People of the Standing Stone built this Mohawk Valley multi-amenity resort as a Northeast destination. Five golfing greens (including one championship course) draw sports fanatics; gamblers get their kicks at the full casino; two spas (including the world-class Skana Spa) and a top-notch restaurant (Wildflowers) attract those looking for a real getaway. Accommodations range from the luxurious, four-star Lodge to the original 1984 hotel. With flower beds in summer and blankets of snowfall in winter, the landscape is a stunning backdrop for its attractions year-round.
