Over priced hack job. And I got charged extra checking out because my stylist had straightened my hair, $10 for a style that comes with a cut and color? What?
I had an absolutely terrible experience here today. I went to the Hamburg Location to get and ombre in my hair. I was put with a stylist who did not know how to do it. They found another stylist to do the ombre, but I have no idea what it looked like because the stylist who then cut my hair CUT OUT ALL THE BLONDE! So the color that I paid to have put in, was then cut out! Additionally, this is one of the worst hair cuts I have had in a long time. She also could not style hair and the blow out had still wavy parts in it when I got home and was able to look more closely at it. All together with tips this cost me about $250 and it honestly looks like I took a pair of kitchen scissors and did it myself. My hair is completely ruined!!!!! I could not possibly be more disappointed. Everyone out there... Do not waste your money on an ombre - they do not know what they are doing!
Weird experience – First impression is everything and this place was not customer friendly!
I was walking around the village and passed by the salon to get prices for a haircut and color. I walk in and no one acknowledged me. I made eye contact with one of the stylists and she just looked away, no one welcomed me in. It was not a good feeling - just a weird vibe that they weren't happy that I was there. I had never been to this salon and right when I walked in, I wanted to just walk out. All of the stylist were busy and I understand that but to give such an unwelcoming vibe is not OK! I waited for ten minutes and I was greeted by the receptionist. She was nice but by then I made up my mind about this salon. Even though I have yet to experience a haircut or a color at this salon I wouldn't go back.
CORTO'S IS THE BEST – Corto's is for those who deserve the BEST. From the second you walk in you are treated like someone special.I see Missy ...She is the BEST ! I have not been there in a while ... Will be calling SOON to see Missy again.... I DESERVE THE BEST ... SO CORTO'S IS FOR ME !! :)
THIS PLACE WILL NOT STOP SPAMMING ME! Normally I would never take the time to sign up for a website to review somewhere but this place is ridiculous. I went there once to get my nails done and now I get something like 2 emails or so a week. I don't even remember giving them my email? I think I've clicked "click here to stop receiving emails" at least 10x. The emails don't stop. Whatever you do do not give these people your email...
Eh...Sigh – I've seen better. Rude staff/management. Cut only so-so for the price. I can do better elsewhere. Probably not going back.
TERRIBLE! – I can't believe they still have clients. I went there in December with a picture of a simple bob cut with bangs. I had never been there before so I didn't request anyone specific. A woman greeted me (very friendly) but told me how this is her 2nd career. She must've barely passed her boards to get a license because I was completely embarrassed and just wanted to get out of there. I looked ridiculas. I had an uneven, HORRIBLE cut that my fiance said made me look like a boy. Called angrily the next day because I needed to have my hair in a teenie ponytail because there was nothing I could do with it. I was not going to walk around like that and have never had to get a redo before. I left a message on their machine & didnt receive a call back. I called again and spoke with someone & they told me to come in. There was a wonderful stylist there that took an hour and a half to correct my cut. She basically had to cut off all my hair because it was so uneven. I did get alot of compliments on that cut though! She did a great job. So when I needed a new cut I made my appointment with her. I drove from Cheektowaga to get there and when I arrived I was told she no longer worked there and they had another stylist. UGH!!!!! NO!!!!! Well, here we go again & he proceeded to cut and slice & razor my fine hair to nothing when once again I just wanted an inverted bob. He told me I could fluff it up when I got home & was once again sent home from Cortos looking like a fool. Well I certainly learned a hard lesson & now have a wonderful stylist that evened my cut and sent me home to grow out all those awful layers I have in my super fine hair. Cortos...You are a clients nightmare!!!
Great – I have been a loyal cort'os customer for a few years now and I have always been satisfied with every visit.
I recently had my hair done twice by Kristen and she did such a beautiful job- I would highly recommend.
A massage therapist who knows what you need – I have only had a few massages before this one, but this was my first at Season's. My back and my neck have been bothering me for a while now and let me tell you the minute I walked into that place my muscles instantly relaxed. The staff was so receptive and made me feel extremely comfortable. I went to the Hamburg location and the therapist I had stretched my muscles in ways I didn't even know they could. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and only had time for a half hour massage, but let me tell you I will be clearing my schedule here shortly for at least an hour with her. JoAnn you are the best! See you soon and thank you very much!!
Seasons Management did not care about me (a regular client and bride) – I had been a regular client of both Seasons & Cortos for my hair & nails & so I chose to have all my services for my wedding done between the 2. This review is only for services at Seasons- Cortos was wonderful to me & I am loyal to them... The week of my wedding Donna (Seasons Mngr) called me to tell me that my nail tech had been in an accident & could not do my nails. She did apologize but at that point she shld have offered someone else to do them or some type of compensation on other services ( I was also having makeup done there). Although very angry, I still had my makeup done there (Holly is awesome!), but I will never go back for any other services. Donna needs some training on better servicing loyal clients or she will lose more of us.
