Great Littleton Montessori School – We have been attending MSCK for almost 7 years. It will be a sad day when my youngest graduates. The teachers, staff, director and families that attend and work at this non profit school are all invested in the same thing, our children. I have been nothing but impressed with what my children have learned while attending the toddler and primary programs. Miss Kathy has not only taught both by sons to read and write, but to excel at math. My oldest is at the top of his math class. He also learned great leadership skills while at MSKC by being given the opportunity to help lead when he was in the kindergarten program. The school has always been clean, organized and provided a safe, caring and nurturing environment for my children.
Wow!!! I love love love this school. It CHANGED my exuburant head-strong daughter into a productive member of society. The TRAINED teachers listen to the kids and have endless patience. Seriously- I can't say enough about this school. She is in the primary program and LOVES it. Our son is in the infant room and he also LOVES it. You won't find high school kids watching your kiddos at this place. Come take a tour and you will see what the buzz is about
My Kids are so Happy Here – The teachers are kind and patient. They teach the kids to be respectful of one another. I like how my kids are exposed to so many different activities that teach them life skills. They get to do things that other schools wouldn't consider (like hammering nails, sewing with needles and thread, cooking). One of my sons who has fine-motor difficulties, has increased these skills beyond my expectations. While the program is based on a child's direction, the teachers are really good at getting them to practice activities that strengthen their weaknesses--all while enjoying it! All the people that work at the school are incredibly loving to the kids. Many of them have their own kids there, so they really get to know everyone very well. We also love the before-and-after care options and the optional programs throughout the day, like the tumble bus, dance, and music classes. I highly recommend the school!
Nurturing Toddler Environment – My daughter is enrolled in the toddler room at MSKC. She has really thrived in the nurturing environment there. Everyday that I drop her off, the teacher is on bended knee welcoming her, giving her a hug and telling her how glad she is to see her. There are thorough reports of your child's day at pickup time as well as a verbal report. The children have a wide variety of learning opportunities and there are always options for enriched learning from tumbling to music classes.
Wonderful Environment! – We chose to enroll our twins in the Toddler Program at MSKC when they were 17 months old in the hopes of encouraging them to feel less anxious around adults and other kids. While our son quickly took to the fabulous routine and comforting Montessori atmosphere, our daughter screamed her way through the first few weeks! With the help (and endless patience) of the wonderful staff at MSKC, she soon found her place in the classroom and now LOVES going to school. We couldn’t ask for a more peaceful, nurturing and stimulating environment and look forward to watching our children continue to blossom at MSKC.
Glad to find this school – My daughter attended this school for almost 1 year since she was 19 months. She immediately fell in love with her school. No cries, no adjustment difficulties. Every afternoon when I tried to pick her up she did not want to leave. I love this school. The most important thing to me is that all the teachers seem to love their jobs, love the children. My daughter has her favorite teacher and classmates and she would miss them during weekend.
Love this school! – I have 2 daughters who have attended MSKC. One for 5 years and the other 3 years. I can't say enough great things about the school, teachers, and leadership. The school has helped them to be independant, thoughtful kids. The school has a tight knit community of parents.
Sad to leave... – My daughter attended this school for over 1 year. We could not have been happier with the way she bonded with her classmates and teachers. We would still be at MSKC if it weren't for us moving from the area. Our best experience has been in the toddler room at MSKC. My daughter loved her teachers and was sad when we left. She still asks about Ms. L's Class!!
Thank you for the experience MSKC!!
My Kids Won't Leave! – I appreciate the quality of teachers and all of their training because it shows in the classrooms. My children enjoy school so much that I can't get them to leave in the afternoon. We went ahead and signed up for additional after-school programs because of it. Luckily, this is a great problem to have when it comes to kids and education. Keep up the great work.
Montessori at its best – My daughter attended MSKC for two years and blossomed into a wonderfully empathetic, caring, curious and independent child. I was really pleased to see her make such great friends and enjoy school so much.
