Wendy's Best Fish and Potatoes – This is your standard Wendy's. It's fast food. What I really hated was the amount of time Andres and I waited for food. It was pretty long for "fast" food.

But I wanted to relive a little bit of my childhood (burger, fries, soda, side salad, baked potato, chocolate frosty in one sitting.....somehow i managed to not develop a binge eating disorder, despite my dad's unrelenting efforts to make me eat as much as is humanly possible), so I had my BF take me here on my birthday. Fancy, I know.

One change was that I got a fish sandwich instead of a burger...fast food beef just really creeps me out now. Grand total was something like $12 for enough food to make me uncomfortably full, with a little bit of leftovers for the BF.

There were like 10 people working behind the counter, but nobody was manning a single register.....so we waited....but I didn't CARE because I was at WENDY'S!

The fish sandwich was okay. The baked potato, as always, was extreeeeeeemely satisfying. l only had to pick one leaf out of the salad, it was pretty fresh! Mmmm....iceberg....so crunchy and flavorless....the perfect nutrition-less vehicle for eating ranch dressing.

I had a great time. And we enjoyed the Wendy's TV channel that had weather reports, a really bizarre segment using spaghetti in a demonstration about how polymers work, music videos from VH1, clips of the Olympics, it was great and weird.

Square burgers, chicken sandwiches and creamy desserts served in a homey setting. – In Short
Named after the daughter of amiable founder Dave Thomas, this Ohio-based chain is more inviting than your typical fast-food joint, thanks to comforting touches like carpeted floors, Tiffany-style lamps and plenty of foliage. The signature square burgers are made-to-order; chicken sandwiches are available grilled or fried. Thick fries, meaty chili and stuffed baked potatoes round out a menu that includes a cool, ultra-thick chocolate Frosty.
