Worse company and service ever. Complete fraud. We paid for 3 years in ADVANCE and now that we need service, they give us a ton of excuses as to why they cannot service it. We are stuck in a contract so they will not let us change or modify anything. We have a office building with no security. Just great. Thanks for ripping us off.
Safe touch is the worst. Sales people tell you about a 3 yr contract and keep talking while you are trying to read the contract to distract you from reading the fine print that you are actually signing a 5 yr contract. You pay upfront for the first 3 yrs. After 18 mos I was told that my phone was no longer compatible with the service and that I was still responsible for the contract. After 18 mos of no service I started getting bills and then threatening collections calls from the most uneducated, rude, unprofessional people ever telling me I would be sued. I should have sued Safe Touch for theft of services for non performance for 18 mos!!!!
This place has the worst customer service ever. I had a prepaid contract that I had to cancel after 3 years. I had an optional service for cell phone to be able to activate the system remotely. I owed about $100. I called them to pay the $100 and cancel the service as I was moving out and could not activate service in the new place. Instead they said I can't cancel service for 5 years under any circumstance. Really??!! Then I tried to pay and they said oh well wait we'll have customer service call you. This went on for about two months when I finally got a call from collection services telling me I owe them $1500 for cancellation of contract. I said how is that possible as the contract is prepaid. The collection agency said oh well you owed $100 and SafeTouch canceled you and as a penalty you have to pay $1500. Then the supervisor of the collection agency wanted to settle for $1200 and they threatened me they'll take me to court. I had it. Finally sent in a complaint to BBB and a month later got a call that they are happy to settle with me for what I owe for the optional service of $100. I received a letter immediately after I paid the amount that service is cancelled. The call I received was from the regional office in Savannah, GA. The local Jax office was horrible. I will never again sign up with them. What a horrible experience that was. Thank god it's over!
I am in contact is safetouch and they just raised my rate and the girl in customer service said they could raise it as every thing else is going up and it says they can on the back of the contract.I am done with safe touch,going with alarm force

I have had SafeTouch for almost two years. I have never had a problem. Their customer service is excellent and response time is always quick and professional. I highly recommend their services.
Threatening Phone calls – Bought my FIRST home (yeah for me) . I have Comcast, a pest control company, Safe touch and a couple more at my NEW home. I am signing contract after contract and I pay full payment up front on all. The Safe touch Rep. stated a 3 year contract, as I said I paid in full, cause I had the $ to do that, at that time. I lose my job and start receiving bills form safe touch, I call to find out whats up; They inform me "We don't have 3 yr contracts, only 5 yr". I told the girl that I'm no longer working and need to cancel my service and that if I was told it was a 5yr contract I would have paid the whole thing. She stated I needed to write a letter stating my reason for canceling the contract, I did so that day with no response. NOW 2 years later still unemployed (even filled out apps. with Safe Touch to get work to pay them and NO RESPONSE. GO FIGURE). Want me to pay them BUT won't HIRE me, who better to have working for you then someone that owes you, cause you know you'll get your money. But NOOOOoo, I get phone calls threatening me with the JUDGE. If I do not have $$$$ due to no job
Terrible Service – Very Very Poor Service. Seems to be run by people who aren't sure what their responsibilities are. I run a jewelry store and my alarm went off and they forgot to call me back. When i finally called them, they told me that no matter what an operator promises calling you back is not part of the job description. Really would reconsider going with Safe Touch.
THESE guys are the THIEVES you need to worry about!!! – I just checked my alarm for the third month in a row and no response. I am supposed to call them when it is not working, but almost every single time I check it the alarm system is not working. They charged me monthly to protect my home when I was deployed to Djibouti in 2009/2010 for 10 months; I arrived home to find that the alarm had not worked in months. In addition, 2 months prior they automatically cancelled my autopay, and started sending me bills in the mail. I was deployed, did not receive them, and they turned the service off. They threatened me with a $1300 fee to cancel the contract (a fee not explained in the in my contract) or $150 to reinitate service and continue with them, forcing me into two more years...I reluctantly agreed. Most months the alarm does not work at all when I self check it. When I call for service, Safetouch can only accommodate me during normal business hours when I too am working (in GA)...unless I take a day off and sit around all day and wait for them, or be charged an extra fee for after hours or weekends. The only thieves I have had to worry about since I started service in 2005 is SAFETOUCH. I am very, very disappointed. I tried to cancel before and they put me on a month to month. Recently my credit card was lost, the number was changed, and they can no longer charge me so I just got my first bill in the mail. I just wrote them again and asked them to cancel. I reported them to the BBB...we shall see.
ive worked there – this place is horrible, i know first hand that they lie to customers and when customers make a complaint certain management see it as a joke. they tell you your contract is 3 years but there is fine print trapping you for 5 years and you are no allowed to tell the customers till they are already in a contract. alarm emergency dispatch opr talk openly about drugs and sexual encounters with other opr taking calls, there have been several complaints in ref to this but no one does anything the only department that has great service and is micro managed in service they are always outstanding but under staffed because of this you can be on hold waiting for an opr for over 2 hours and when the line has to many people on hold it starts dropping calls. when there are problems with safe touch equipment in the emergency dispatch area employs are advised to lie to customers so that do not know that they possibly don't have service connection or that they are not receiving any signals from any alarms. at one point all internet service accounts were not able to send alarms to opr and were never handled the company management advised employes to send all calls in ref to this to service .... where the customer tested there system and then were charge to have a tech come out to there home .... Evan though the problem resided inside of the company itself
