It's not a lie if we didn't tell you . . . – No question this is a place to avoid. In my transaction I purchased a used car for my son with less than 5000 miles on it. As I was signing the papers I asked about the key fob and was told, for the first time, there wasn't one and that if I wanted one I would have to pay for it. I wasn't happy (to put it mildly) since this little fact had never been mentioned in over a week of questions and haggling over the vehicle. Then when we got out to the parking lot to take delivery, we found the vehicle didn't have an owner's manual either and you guessed it - "if you want one you'll have to pay for it."

Not satisfied with this previously undisclosed information I decided to take it up with the sales manager, a bloke (he's Irish) named Gavin. I explained that a key fob and owner's manual are as basic as a spare tire - not something you would typically need to ask about, particularly on a car so new. His bottom line, too bad, we sell 'em like we get 'em, and we never told you they were included in the deal. When I told him the issue was the non-disclosure during the entire transaction until I was signing the papers he said his sales guys had never lied to me because they had never been asked about those items. Apparently in Gavin's world, non-disclosure of material information is not a lie.

So I am left to wonder - if Gavin's wife/girl friend cheats on him but doesn't tell him about it, is she not a liar? That's probably what Tiger Woods thought too.

Lying by non-disclosure is still lying. But not at this dealership. STAY AWAY.

Classic Chevrolet – Great group of people to work with. No pressure and no sales gimmicks. Would recommend to anyone looking to

purchase a vehicle.
