TOTAL SCAM!! They took our money then kept asking for new travel dates because of 'no availability' on the dates we requested. We continuously got the run-around from these people. We finally did what they wanted all along and requested a refund; which of course was much less than what we paid them. And we too will never use the travel agency that got us involved with Millennium - Simplicity Travel, Dallas, TX.
This is a scam, they will void everything over simple errors, even a misspelling. Unfortunate for all the companies they promote because I won't use them either for affiliating with liars!
SCAM !!! SCAM !!! SCAM !!! SCAM !!! SCAM !!!
You will never get a FREE cruise
Ripp off!!! They charge, then over charge. When they tell you, you have earned a free trip they charge twice the price for taxes and port fees. I can book a trip for half the cost of what they charged my wife and I for port and tax for a supposed free air and see trip.
All you need to do is read the agreement before you sign anything. You won't be disappointed. My family had an amazing time in Vegas earlier this year!
I've had nothing but a good experience dealing with Millennium Travel. Not sure why there is so much negative feedback.
check out their complaints on the BBB!! – High pressure to the point that it was laughable. I had assumed that archaic sales style went out in the 70's when consumers became more sophisticated and knowledgable. What was described as a 2 hour commitment turned into 4 hours when we were reluctantly given a piece of paper and told to go away. The actual product sounded somewhat interesting to us but the fact that we couldn't purchase it even a week later after we had time to research and discuss was a "BIG RED FLAG". It gets worse....the free cruise and airfare had to be sent into another company via certified mail and a $75 and $50 money order. Weeks later, I received a phone call from some 2 star resort in Mexico saying that I could come there for a week but no cruise , no airfare. I am currently working with the better business bureau to formalize this complaint. I would also suspect that the glowing review following this one was probably drafted by their own sales staff . Do yourself a favor and don't let these unethical liars continue to rip off us good people
Looks like the Best legal SCAM I've ever seen – It's all in the fine print, so you can't say you weren't warned. Extra fees all the newer ships and most convenient ports (and other things). An amazing number of blackout dates that looked to me to add up to roughly 7 months of the year. With all that and the "Gotcha" time limits for this and that, for most people I know this is the furtherest thing from a free cruise I can imagine. Certainly not worth the time it took to sit through a sales pitch for what seemed to me an equally scammish vacation club.
Run, don't walk...away from these folks! – Do not be sucked in. Do not believe what these folks are promoting. After you go and sit for over an hour, and then get a chance to put $9000 on your credit card (no that's not a typo...the want $9000), you get info for your free trip.
It is a joke. You have to send certified funds....TWICE...before even getting info on a proposed trip. Then you must list three dates that THEY choose from, and give you 30-45 days notice AFTER they have booked your travel. I can only pray to get my deposit back. RUN FROM THIS AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
Stay Away! – These guys ripped me off. Only later did I find out that they're being investigated by the Florida Attorney General's Office and has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They're involved in the scam where a travel company offers you a free vacation if you'll come in and listen to a sales pitch. The problem is the vacation is far from free and in the end they keep your $100 deposit and you get nothing for it but a headache.
