GREAT experience!! – Yes, the room is hot. Quite hot. But it is supposed to be that way...it is a challenge for your body and your mind. As a runner, I was skeptical about trying Bikram, but I LOVE it and have reaped the benefits of going back repeatedly - it has actually helped me through injuries and made me faster. I do NOT notice a bad smell at all, and the new flooring that they have installed recently is awesome! I have also met numerous wonderful people at Bikram, between those that work there and those that take the classes. This is an overall great experience...I'll agree, maybe not for everyone, but totally worth a try!

Good Experience – I've been there 2 times so far and I've had a great experience. Yes, it is hot but that is why they call it "hot yoga". People do sweat and sometimes they smell but that is the price you pay for practicing something so intense, yet rewarding. If Bikram isn't for you maybe regular yoga at your gym or something would work. I've been treated well both times I have been there and haven't had any problems.

Someone mentioned they had problems with a package they bought. I too bought a package from groupon and they explained to me that I had a certain amount of time to use the classes. Things happen but it is not their fault if you don't use them all by the deadline. They are running a business! Don't be babies about it! :)

Reeks of BO – Super cute on the outside & reception area - once inside the actual yoga room tho - totally different story. It was a weird hot & not ventilated properly for it to be that dry and humid hot at the same time. It's not a sauna w/the correct ventilation just a room w/heat cranked and humidifiers. And it was just too hot - not warm - but hot - sticky hot - people sweating sticky hot. And when people sweat in an unventilated room - they stink - even after they leave. The BO upon walking into that yoga room was over bearing. This combined w/carpet on the floors - just gave me the creeps. Bacteria breeds in sticky hot and w/carpet I can only imagine what's in the carpet - I highly doubt it's cleaned daily. I turned around & walked out - just couldn't do it. When I asked for a refund - I felt kinda bad & was just going to leave it at - it's just not for me - but when pressed by I guess the owner - I told her the smell was over bearing - her snarky response was she's in that room every day and doesn't smell anything. Of course she doesn't - she's used to it. Furthermore, instead of being argumentative w/a customer - why not discuss it to find out more from me and resolve a problem vs. make it worse? Poor management it appears as well.

Wouldn't reccomend, and this is why: – You're paying a lot of money to practice the exact same routine in an overcrowded room, mats literally 2-3 inches apart.

But here is the biggest problem that I have with this business:

If you buy a group package of lessons and can't get them in within a short amount of time (life happens.), guess what: You can't use the lessons for which you've already paid unless you buy another package (with the same "time bomb" stipulation). There really isn't any conceivable reason to have that type of restriction except to try and weasel more purchases from customers.

So get yourself a package at Bikram YOGA if you enjoy having your lessons withheld if you get sick or too busy for a week to attend their class.

Otherwise, why not support businesses with more ethical policies?

every business has policies on there purchases.. we allow 60 days for the use of 5 classes 90 days for 10 classes and 120 days for 20 classes.. and always yes offer our rollover policy when you purchase a new class card, you never lose your unused classes... and each situation is unique we are a small business and are always willing to work with each student...
