BEST SERVICE, BEST FOOD!!! :). kados has the best food and has grea customer service! They do get busy and it can take awhile on the weekend thats why you CALL AHEAD. I have been going there for over 4 years atleast 3 times a month and NEVER had a problem. Everyone is extremly nice and it has always been extremly fast. The new tampa Kados is ran by the same people and both of them are ran very nice!!! I would suggest Kados over any other place!

Best Teppan Grill food in Tampa, no waits!. We have had good experiences every time we have dined here. The food is delicious- the best Japanese grill food we have had in Tampa. The service is not the greatest, but our drinks are kept full and the chefs are fun and friendly. This is a good place for you if you like Japanese food from the grill, but don't want to deal with the crowds or a long wait. We are usually seated immediately, and they begin grill service within 20 minutes of being seated. Also, they don't pack you in to a crowded table or make you wait until there is a full table. They concentrate more on the service and experience of diners, versus the convenience for their chefs.

POOREST SERVICE IN TAMPA. We have been regular customers since their steakhouse was located in Ybor Square, for over 10 years, dropping over $100 a month there. We will NEVER dine there again after our recent encounters, Two weeks ago we were left sitting for over an hour before the chef got to our table. Last week, we were sat after a 30 minute wait, and then left sitting at our table for an 1.25 hours without as much as our drink order being taken, We asked how long before hot food, and were told that there would be at least another hour before hot food. We walked out, and others at our table followed suit. POOREST SERVICE IN TAMPA...and they offer NO apology! Try the KADO in New Tampa...food AND service is better!

Best Steak Ever. Oh I love this restaurant. They have the best steak and seafood ever. Everyone is very nice and you sit at a table with other people (those who are not social can request a table by themselves). Its very relaxing and an awesome experience. They have very unique mix drinks as well. I'm not a big sushi fan but I have to admit, I loved it there. Very fresh! The pricing isnt too bad either, you get a soup, salad, a show and very good service! I highly suggest trying it!

First Impressions matter. Our evening started w/ a delayed greeting. We were then seated by ourselves for 10 minutes before being checked on. Our waiter asked if we would not mind having 3 additional people added to our table, so the wait time for our food would be shorter, I of course could not believe what had been asked of us and wanted to leave, however my spouse wanted to stay. So we went ahead and had the 3 people added to our table.

By this time we were finally able to order, and it took and additional 8 minutes to get our beverages and soup. By this time the chef should have appeared to start cooking our dinner. However because the waiter failed to give our order to the chef, we were overlooked (30 + minutes had gone by) We inquired what we owed for our drinks and soup and WALKED OUT!!
