The worst daycare I have experienced. The school director and master are not responsible and have no enthusiasm to kids or education. The only thing they care is to collect monthly tuition from you. Don’t expect your kid would learn anything here. While other daycares are teaching writing letter, they only let you kids watch TV.
PARENTS BEWARE... HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!
My son was in the RHINOS (24 - 36months) program for 2 days (2 and 4 hours on day1 and day2). I expected a little transition period at first. And the owner, director are not even willing to support us through this. They commented on my son being big and strong for this class; as they could not contain him in the room and were fearing that he could hurt others. It is still the first 6 hours of him being in a daycare/ school in his life and he was searching for his mom/dad. How can they expect him to contain him in a room with out convincing him that the mom or dad are not in the lobby/building. No one even care to greet the kid when he get to the shcool or the classrrom.
They had more than 16 kids in that small room with two teachers and only one working for the kids. The other is of no use standing and watching couple of kids for ever. If they think 16 is tough to handle I expected them to tell me that they were full even before accepting the enrollment. My son has been always told that he was the best behaved kid at his pediatricians place. This is the first time that I felt discrimination in America. This is the worst possible place that any parent should send their kid to.
My son was in the Tigers (12-24months) program for 6 months. During this time he had 4 different teachers. I expected a little transition period at first. However, the last 2 or so months I would have to drag him into the school as he would not even want to walk in. while on vacation, i had other family members drop him off and pick him up. They were NEVER even questioned or asked for ID. My last draw was when i got there they were outside, he was screaming and crying holding his hands up to a teacher. She was so engulfed in a conversation with another teacher, she was completely ignoring him.
not up to Goddard standard – Our children had been enrolled in another Goddard School, which was excellent, so we expected the same type of experience in Alpharetta. While the teachers were nice, the school is obviously not cleaned on a daily basis. They also routinely have 7-8 students per teacher, versus an advertised 4.
As per other reviews, they are aggressive when collecting any money they feel they are owed - whether justified or not.
Wonderful School – We have loved the experiences we have had thus far with this school. All the staff and management team are warm, friendly and professional. The owner is there daily too and welcomes my child everyday with a great big hug. We love it and you should check it out if you are looking a great child care option in Alpharetta.
Horrible management – My daughter was enrolled in the State Bridge Goddard School infant room for 5 months. We adored her teachers, but had serious issue with the owner, director and overall management of the school. We were promised and paid a premium price for a 1:4 teacher to student ratio which is what they called their "Goddard Standard". On many occasions this was not the case. After having discussions with the director and the owner on multiple occasions regarding this issue, both said that the staffing issue was being resolved. However, on one date after these multiple discussions had taken place, when I dropped my daughter off there were 12 students in the infant room with only 2 teachers. The director and owner were no where to be found. At this point we pulled our daughter out of the State Bridge Goddard School feeling that her safety was at risk secondary to the inappropriate staffing. Our only communication with the owner after we gave our resignation letter was that we still owed money. No apologies for the lack of the "Goddard Standard", just you still owe money! In my opinion, a completely inappropriate way to do business. Especially from the owner who says he is in the daycare business to "make a difference". Seems to me he is only concerned with making money. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I hope that the teachers in the infant room leave the school as they are great and deserve better than to work for such poor management.
PARENTS BEWARE – This Goddard schools has a very high turn over rate of employees. It seemed that every day there was a new face working there and they were not hiring high quality teachers.
