THE BEST SUBWAY IN PORTLAND – These guys are great! They make the best subs and are careful to not over or under portion. All the veggies are ALWAYS fresh and crisp. I had the opportunity to eat there at least twice a week this summer and everything was always consistent. No snotty counter people, no soggy anything, no errant ingredients that you didn't want AND a clean store. The staff move down the line like they're choreographed, taking over as a new customer comes to order. No one has to wait more than a minute. The manager is a gem. You HAVE to go there.
Sandwich chain offers healthy alternatives for diners on the go. – In Short
Subway's health-conscious menu is built around greaseless deli sandwiches--turkey, chicken, roast beef, etc.--made on soft rolls baked daily in-house. Customers pick white, wheat or a specialty bun, name the length, choose the toppings and watch as the sandwich moves down the assembly line. Wraps, melts, salads and chips by the bag diversify the streamlined menu. And despite the bread factor, Subway boasts numerous successful weight-loss stories and low-carb menu items.
Ode to Subway – Subway on Hawthorne is the best.. I travel across town to go there! There is free WiFi. They also have great friendley fast sevice.
Thier store is always clean!! Seth the Manger is great he leads his team very well!!
Great Atmosphere – This is the place to be. They have free wifi, make the best mocha in town, and the omelets are to die for. Not to mention they always have super friendly people workind behing the counter. I pass two other Subways to eat here. Especially since they remodeled to their new cafe look. Definately a place to check out.
Subway? Be serious. – Mass-produced engineered food that touts sticking frozen dough into a giant EZ Bake oven and putting the finished sandwich into an "oven" for "toasting."
Bah. Feh. The whole chain is mediocre at best, and I cannot abide the questionnaire one must answer just to get a &%$* sandwich.
Superb – This is the best Subway I've ever ate at. The service was impeccable, the person working greeted me by my name on my second visit. They had a nice jazz beat going on in the background which was really relaxing and everything was spotless. They even have free wireless internet access. That sure beats the $10 I have to pay at Starbucks. Unless I'm out of town, this is the only Subway I eat at.
