I have been going to Capelli for over a year now and I must say I am nothing less than satisfied. The stylist that is being referred to in the earlier posts is no longer there, and from my experience, everyone is satisfied with their hair. Since coming to Capelli, my hair has been taken care of in the most professional manner and has finally started growing like I want it! It is healthy and I get compliments all of the time. I have no complaints.

New in Town & reading reviews – This comment was very mature of you. Even if the client is hard to please its not very professional to post those comments. Your comments should have been in defense of your salon and its reputation by making a statement "We're committed to customer service..." something along those lines and not to bad mouth the customer. Here's why, Be CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY AND POST, it can open you up for litigation. I'm new to area and searching for a stylists but after reading the comments posted by you I will not step foot in your door nor will I send my family or friends your direction. Word of Mouth is something else. This client you disrespected can tell 10+ her friends and family, they can tell theirs and before you know it you just lost at least 10% of your customer base and future clients.

Business management should be a major focus area in cosmotology school, becuase even though a stylist may have some skills most have no clue how to run a business and deal with customers and it's rare to find a stylists who respects your time as if its their own.

Shocked by the display of unprofessionalism – I pass this salon all the time... I see a full parking lot all the time. I finally decided to look them up on line to see if they have a website. I was shocked to see the going back and forth of a stylist with a client.

Up to this point I thought wow, this salon must really be doing well because they are always crowded in the parking lot.

But when I saw the postings from the stylist I was appalled by the unprofessional conversation on citysearch.

A service provider whether it be a stylist or some other form of service provider should never have a bad positing against a client. It doesn't make the client look bad it makes the establishment as well as the person who posted it look bad not to mention some of the comments posted by the stylist is hitting that fine line of giving that person ammunition to file a discrimination suit.

Example.... mentioning the persons age in relation to the hair style chosen or still looking for a trusted stylist... you treading on that fine line.

Everyone knows that a disappointed client will tell a minimum of 10 people so adding fuel to the fire by bashing and naming the client in your post makes it that much worse.

Her original comment would not have deterred me from receiving service at Capelli it would be your constant posts and unprofessional responses. Let your work speak for its self not a post that can be seen and never deleted.

My rating a I think the salon itself is doing something right or it wouldn't have a full lot . Wrong for allowing the stylist to take and use the citysearch to handle a client dispute with unprofessional comments.

When you can't get your money back - write a review – First, does it count when the business post reviews of themselves and gives themselves 5 stars with 3 separate post? My former hair stylist came to counter my review and gave her shop 5 stars. Then commenced to post my name and paint me as a "disturbed" client in need of counseling.

Something is really wrong when a hair stylsit ask you how you want your hair and then fixes it totally opposite of what you ask - then gets upset when you complain. I asked Tremaine if she could fix the problem but she said, "no" let me refer you to another hair stylist. To top this the owner of Capelli refused to give me my money back.

This is a bad bad place, They don't won't to satisfy you; they don't want to compensate you for your troubles; and they put your name up on a public forum and suggest you have psychological problems. Gee... all I wanted was loose curls - she put tight curls all over my head now she's using my name and making defamatory remarks about my psychological well being. She also made rude statements about me being over 40. And lest not forget she put 3 reviews up on her on company - in counter to my original review. In my original review I didn't use names nor did I attack her on a personal level. I also made nice comments about how pretty the shop is. This is truly bizzare!

Everyone deserves respect - even hair salon customers – Interesting that 3 of the five reviews here are by the hairstylst that I was unhappy with. I made a short statement about how unhappy I was with her service - and she counters my consumer right to make a business review by placing my name on here and saying that I need counseling. When I posted my review before, I didn't go into detail about how rude Tremaine was. Now that she has countered my review and taken it to a personal level, I have no choice but to say her name also. So what does that tell you? A hairstylist who puts her customers name on a customer satisfaction board and also paints the customer as unhappy and in need of counseling. All of this because I wanted my hair a certain way and she wouldn't fix it that way. In the old days if a consumer wasn't happy the merchant or professional would apologize and offer compensation. If Tremaine ask you how do you want your hair and you explain to her what you want - she may do the opposite and get upset with you if you complain. I trusted Tremaine and unfortunately confided a lot about my mother's troubles that I am sad about. I have the Lord as my counsel it's not Tremaine's place to suggest I need counseling. What I probably really need at this point is an attorney to investigate if Tremaine's personal put down here in a public forum is defamation of character. I feel victimized AGAIN and now my character has been pulled thru the mud. Tremaine all I asked is if you could make my curls loose. You put tight curls all over my head then got upset with me when I complained. Why do you feel the need to paint me as someone that needs counseling. What kind of business owner are you? All I can say to future customers is stay above board with Tremaine. She does a great job styling most of the time but if you catch her on a bad day maybe she will style it the way she wants then dare you to say anything. I will have to say also that these personal attacks against me have inspired me to seek legal counseling. Any suggestions from my hairstylist that I have something mentally wrong and have the nerve to publish is wrong. Legal action is my next step.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE – I'VE BEEN GOING TO CAPELLI STUDIO FOR 8YRS. I HAVE HAD ONLY GREAT EXPERIENCES THERE. BEAUTIFUL ATMOSPHERE AND PROFESSIONAL WORK ETHICS. I WOULD REFER PEOPLE TI THAT SHOP ANY DAY.

disturbed clients – In my experience I have learned that kim has went to others even while coming to me and she talked about them also,they could not please her as well so she came back to me,so what does that say about her no one has ever been able to please her, that's why she's over 40 still searching for a hairstylist but im letting u know now she will not be happy just a heads up

unpleasable clients. – I am a professional cosmetologist.When u have clients unhappy in their own life its natural for them to make others feel the same they do.Ive had to fix her hair after 3 days a few times, i think thats taking advantage it has nothing to do with customer service at this point,customer service was guaranteed when she liked her hair and walked out the door she was happy and satisfied.Someone who walks out the door and called 3 days later thats someone having problems in their life unfortunately im not a counselor i cannot give Kim peace thats something God has to give her not me .When my clients leave i make sure before they leave that they love their hair, like i did with her thats good customer service she was happy when she walked out the door.She needs to find peace in herself.

I feel victimized – During the recession I treat myself by getting my hair done. It hurts that I plunked down $60 and got very unsatisfactory results. When I asked stylist if she could rectify the problem with my hair - she told me that it would be best if she could refer me to someone else. I feel trampled on and victimized!
