I would like to take a minute and say how pleased I was with their service. I brought in my Peavey equipment for repair. Not only did they fix it in a timley manner, they let me know that one of the pieces was still under manufact. warranty and took care of it at no charge to me. I was unaware of the warranty and could have been charged.
It is hard to find honest people these days and I will not forget it.
Worst Experience EVER! – I needed a replacement part for my television and was referred to this company from someone who lived in their town. Initially they were very courteous and helpful with ordering this part for me. They quoted me a fair price and said there would be a two day delivery charge as well, plus there ordering/processing fee. Two days went by and the part still hadn't arrived. On the third day I called and talked to sandy who gave me the run around and said they didn't know when the part was arriving but she would call the company and get a verification for me, she never called me back. On the fourth day I called back and spoke with Sandy again who then told me she couldn't get anybody on the phone to get an explanation and couldn't waste anymore of their time trying to track my order down. This company is closed on the weekends so she told me there was nothing she could do until Monday. On Monday I called and spoke with Sandy again who then informed me the part still had not arrived and she had no idea where it was and still couldn't get anyone on the phone from Mitsibishi to verify if it had shipped out. After we hung up I called Mitsubishi myself and got a representative on the phone in less than three minutes that informed me that a confirmation email had been sent to Summerville electronics with all the details as well as a shipping tracking number. When all was said and done it took summerville electronics a full week to get me what I ordered and didn't reimburse me for the two day shipping I had paid for. This company is in a Military town and doesn't offer military discount. I paid them up front for the part, shipping, and processing and after they recieved there money they did nothing to help out the problem that arose. They actually charged me more than it would have cost if I ordered it myself and overnighted it directly to my home. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever! I would not refer this company to anyone for anything! They were extremely unprofessional, rude, and overpriced. Take your buisness elsewhere!!!
BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH ELECTRONICS REPAIR – I read the only review on city search which was very negative. I told one of my friends and she told me the exact opposite. She had been doing business with summerville electronics for several years and was always happy with their service. I took my tv and amp. to summerville electronics to be repaired. The people I met were very polite and professional. the equip. I left was repaired when promised and the prices were very fair.
I can only imagine the bad review I read was a misunderstanding between the customer and summerville electronics, Or the customer was one of those people you just can't satisfiy.
I highley recommend summerville electronics for your tv or anything else you need repaired.
NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER – My expereince was not a misunderstanding. Two different tv's and ocassions, twice the same result. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TV OR OTHER ELECTRONICS TO THEM. THEY SUCK. In fact. The technician was bragging (actually screaming) to me "Did I fix your tv?" Well I'm actually having problems with the picture now. Why am I not surprised? Be advised people, take your electronics elsewhere. Check Better Business Bureau, be cautious.
