Experienced Doctor - Friendly Staff – I have been to Blossom for my first Baby, the doctor is very experienced, and the staff is very friendly.

If I need a Gynecologist I definitely go to Blossom and recommend to my friends.

Unfair Office Practices in Customer BIlling1 – I had surgery in 2008. My family was quoted a price by the doctor that covered all cost involved. We paid the bill in full.

Today, I received a bill for $10.00. I was stunned. I no longer need a GYN.

I called their office, and as usual had to leave a message and wait speveral days until their rude office returned my call at 7pm at night. The woman who called me explained that they were closing out all overdue ballances for this year even if they were for a penny.

I have never received a bill for this rx call in. The only reason it was called in was because the doctor promised me a rx of it in the hospital, and released me before I had it. It was estrogen. I was having major hot flashes.

I had to chase the doctor down a week before I ever got my estrogen.

$10.00 charge right now, but this is wrong. I called the same number back and got an answering service who whould not take a message only if it was a doctor emergency. If they call me after hours, I should be able to call them. The answering service would not identify who they were, but I know, You always take a message.

I have waited days for a call back for an apt or any other question, I want doctors to get their bills straight by using simple business practices. In my opinion, this is unfair, unethical, and downright cheap to be pulling this over my head after all this time.

I guess the throne of purple has fallen. I just referred a friend over there, and now, I an going to tell her to keep looking.

Disappointed patient. Very Disappointed. Your office staff is beyond rude, and I want my account straightened out immediately. JLV1906

Great Doctor – I have been going to Dr. Chorness for about 15 years. She is attentive, intelligent and caring. I am currently on my 2nd pregnancy. The first pregnancy and delivery went smoothly thanks to Dr. Chorness and so far so good on this one too. she has an awesome bedside manner and even though she is busy, she always takes the time to answer all of my questions. Yes the wait time can be long at times but has actually gotten better over the past year. Her staff is wonderful also.

Look elsewhere! – I've been to blossom several times, each time hoping things will improve. Each time I have had to wait at least 2 hrs in a waiting room full of screaming children. The staff is rude and incompetent. I've had sugeries and treatments and I have to explain it everytime to the "nurse", she asks why I had surgery and why was I on that specific treatment etc. I ask isn't it in my chart? The doctor should know why she put me on it, ask her. The doctor is ok, she talks down to patients and seems to dismiss serious problems. There are always students coming in asking questions, I don't like that at all, I go to see a dr not a student. And there is always issues with staff and bickering with the dr. Each time I've gone, they bill the wrong insurance company & send me huge bills. They even billed me again in 09 for a surgery paid for in 2005. I've switched now. Save your time, you'll be disapointed.

NOT RECOMMENDED - save money and time - go elsewhere - GET BETTER CARE SOMEWHERE ELSE – Doctor does not listen to you but rather talks down to you. Treats my husband very rudely. I felt I was misunderstood. Nurse had no personality - made me feel like I was bothering her by just being there. I could over hear staff and doctor talking out in the hallway. It appears the doctor is having staff problems.

After waiting for a long time I don't think other patients in the building needs to hear the staff's discontent with the doctor!

Horrible customer service – This doctor's office dispays awful customer service. FIrst my experience started out with being referred to this doctor because of insurance changes. The receptionist called to get information about me and set an appointment date with me over the phone. Three days later another receptionist called and asked the same questions and claimed she had no information on file about me and no record of anything about me including my appointment date, also she was very short with me and had a bad attitude. The doctors office never gave me a courtesy call to remind me of the appointment, but I remembered anyway. The day of my appointment I called the doctors office to get better directions and to confirm timing. I called for hours to only get an automated response. I left messages and I never received a return phone call. Im sure this doctors office couldn't care less about me being a patient of theirs.

Disappointed and now aggrivated – I first started going to Blossom because it was convenient and I liked that it was designed specifically for the comfort of womens needs. The first few visits were ok but I did have to wait an awfully long time. Every time I went in I was seen by a student which I don't have a problem with. It just seemed that the doctor never had time. I have a unique history with major surgery and cancer with treatments yet I had to explain every detail each and every time I went into the office. Shouldn't this be in the chart and read prior to any consultation or treatment? My last visit I never saw the doctor at all. She didn't have time to see me and asked that I make a seperate appointment to talk with her. I the took time off work to sit in the office and wait after 2 hours I was told the doctor didn't have time and she would just call me, (for which I was charged dr. consultation fee of $185). A week later the dr called and said everything was fine she would just see me at my next appointment in a year. I've had numerous problems with billing as well. They have filed with the wrong insurance several times and though I changed my address over a year ago they continue to send correspondence to a previous address. Now that I am pregnant, there's no way I will go back. I've found much better service and much friendlier staff elsewhere. Very disappointed with Blossom and would not recommend them.

Wonderful Dr. – I have had a wonderful experience with th Blossom OBGYN. The Dr. followed my wishes with the delivery of my son and the experience was great due to the staff at Blossom OBGYN. This was my first child and they were very heplful with any concerns I had. I never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time and everyone that worked there was very courteous and kind. I would highly reccomend this office to anyone looking for an OBGYN.

not for me – If you are an unemployed stay at home mother who has a lot of time on your hands, then you might enjoy waiting to see the doctor. I have a job, and even though the Dr. is very smart, I lose money sitting in there waiting to see her.
