My wife and I and three kids visited Quest 5 years ago for the first time. I was a bit skeptical, but our kids loved it and begged us to keep going and so we did. Over time Karen and I fell in love with this place too. The people are wonderful, the programs phenomenal and in our 20 years of marriage...joining this church is one of the best decisions we have made.
Our marriage fell on tough times in about year 16 and the people at Quest rallied around us in support and love and helped us to the point that I happily say today our marriage is the best it's ever been. Our kids are thriving in a loving and challenging environment and making a difference in their world.
I urge to come check it out a few times and see for yourself! We would love to have you!
After relocating to the Lexington area, an old college friend started inviting me to come to Quest Community Church with her. She actually invited me dozens of times over several years because I didn't take her up on the offer. I am so glad she never stopped inviting me because one day I actually came!
I've had a lot of "church experience" in my life, but what I discovered at Quest has blown me away! It's my church now & I love to invite people to come with me. At Quest, I've met the most loving, graceful, authentic and generous people who love Jesus and have let Him rescue and transform them. In the Quest community, Jesus has transformed me and led me out a small, self-protected life into a His beautifully expansive plans for my life. Like many Questers, I am fluent in hope because we really experience the truth that "nothing is impossible with God!"
Consider yourself invited!
I didn't grow up going to church but when I came to college I thought I'd give it a try & ended up attending Quest & their college ministry with my roommate in the dorm. I never knew that church could be relevant to me & that I could find a community that was actually interested in me for me. I ended up finding Jesus at this church & 4 years later I can't believe the life I have. I get to use my gifts to serve the church, love and lead other college students & am surrounded by a loving and supportive community of people all while growing closer to Jesus & the calling He has on my life.
I have never felt so welcomed in my whole life...I had found something I didn't even know I was looking for...and that was JESUS!! Nothing has been the same since. I LOVE MY CHURCH! Where transformation really happens, and people are loved...
I remember once reading about the first church in the book of Acts and wondering if that kind of inclusive, transformational, revolutionary community could ever exist again. I had absolutely no idea that's what I was walking into the first day I entered the doors of Quest.
It's a place where Jesus is the center of everything and everywhere you look new life is springing up -- people finding forgiveness of their sins & giving control of their lives to Him, addictions being broken, marriages finding second chances, families experiencing restoration and healing.
I've experienced it firsthand as well. Through the ministry of Quest, my wife, my brother, my mother and my father have all put their trust in Jesus. Hundreds of friends have been transformed into wholehearted followers of Jesus. I never seen the redemptive power of a local church like I have through Quest.
I had no idea what God had in store the first day I came here, but it was one of the best decisions of my entire life. I love my church!
I Love my church! I never thought I would say anything remotely close to that. I was skeptical of church because of some places in my past and never thought I could find a real authentic church where I could be myself and be really loved. It was the love of Jesus through people that really let me know I could let down my defenses and be real. I've been met with grace, grace and more grace! I've watched my family be transformed through the ministry here. I love my church!
I visited Quest in April of 2010, and from the moment I walked through the doors, it felt like I had known the people in this community for a long time.
During my darkest hour, I found men and women among whom I wasn't expected to perform better or to mask what I was struggling through. Instead, the people I met led me to the cross where Jesus spoke grace over me in ways I had never received before. His love and His correction became tangible in this place.
I did not believe that the church of Acts 2 could be so redemptive. Two and a half years later, Jesus has restored my heart in ways I previously thought impossible, and He used this culture of redemption to do it!
Come see for yourself!
Unlike any church I have ever been to.....
When we first pulled up to Quest I realized it was different just from looking at the building. Admittedly I was a bit skeptical because it looked nothing like the churches I had ever attended. Upon entering & getting greeted by the parking team, those inside & hearing the music I continued to notice the differences. Then I heard people share stories of real life pain & healing that I didn't even realize was allowed to be said in a church. Next Pastor Pete Hise spoke about Jesus so clearly my husband & I were blown away. I heard biblical truth presented in such a simple & engaging way that I had never heard in my life. We were intrigued so we kept coming back. The teaching team brought relevant topics that affected us & had the courage to tackle real problems. Through hearing others share their authentic stories of brokenness I was able to finally find a place I could stop hiding & be real myself. Quest is unlike any church I have ever been to but that's what it took to transform me & our family so that we are more connected with each other & Jesus than I ever though was possible.
I first came to Quest in 2010. Walked into a service to hear a friend I had known from when I lived in South Carolina. That guy was a pastor now. It was a thing called the Uprising. Wow! I was taken aback by the joy and love and grace that came my way. I was accepted just like I was. The music spoke to my heart. Several men and women shared their life stories. These people shared with candor, transparency and authenticity. They were honest about their struggle and how they came to Jesus. It was refreshing to hear that. My family started attending with me. My son (17) and daughter (21) connected to Jesus since they started attending. We are so thankful for this culture of redemption and what Jesus is doing in us and through. I would encourage anyone to come and check out this oasis of joy!!
My family and I first came to Quest Community Church in 2009 and this has been our home church ever since then. I absolutely love the community here and now have so many friends. Quest is the friendliest church I have ever been to, and even though it's a large church my LifeGroup makes it feel small and personal. The lead pastor, Pete Hise, delivers challenging messages that always lead to The Cross and to Jesus. And, the worship band is always entertaining! When I came to Quest, I was a controlling, depressed person and now I am free, loving and open-handed living for Jesus. This is truly and amazing place and an amazing community.
