I had a foodgasm!!. WOW! I had been dying for something that really blew me away and Jicama Grill did it! Progressive menu with an amazing selection of ceviches. Beautiful, creative combination of neuvo latino and local favorites (i.e., the shrimp/grits appetizer). The portions were generous, the mojitos were awesome and so was the apple empanada dessert. And Anthony (chef/owner)...he's a cutie!

Jicama Grill is named after the Jicama, which grows in South America and is used in many of their dishes. Located on trendy Bardstown Road, Jicama Grill offers both inside and patio dining.
The romantic lighting immediately puts guests in the mood to enjoy the many choices of wine and appetizers. Salads are offerd a la carte, but save room for the incredible main courses. My favorite is the sea bass, covered with macadamia nuts in a sweet sauce. Also delicious is the steak and portobello mushroom combination. One will find a variety of meats to choose from, especially seafood. Make sure you order dessert to share with someone special. They have rum-soaked chocolate cake that is out of this world. Jicama Grill is the restuarant of choice for me and my 20-40 year old friends.
Heee-Cama. What an outstanding menu! The food was absolutely delicious. The Calamari and Chino Latino Tuna was amazing! The entrees were equally as inventive and the generous portions make this a winner.
