Dr. Loden is a quack! I went in for a routine 45 min procedure. 4.5 hours later I come out of surgery. I am now blind in the eye he worked on any my eye is morbidly disfigured. He then prescribed me a extreme amount of steroids to stop the bleeding in my eye. I was on so many steroids that I developed steroid psychoses and could have died. I had to have 4 more surgeries from Dr. Churney and Dr. Anita Agawol from Vanderbilt vision center. After everything was said and done he even had the audacity to turn me over to his collection service for the remaining $700 that my insurance did not pay him. Please choose your eye doctor very carefully. They mess up and you will pay for it the rest of your life.

I researched the heck out of Dr. Loden and a couple other local offices before choosing to use Loden Vision for my LASIK procedure. Everything about my experience here was perfect. My eyes were awful. I had a horrible astigmatism, and my vision was 4.50 and 5.75. Hours after the procedure, I had perfect vision.

Everyone on staff made me feel at home and comfortable about the procedure. I felt extremely informed about the process and what to expect before during and after the procedure. From Laurel who did my consultation, Dr. Graves who did my initial check up, the team that dilated and checked my eyes two days prior to the surgery, Dr Mills who checked me pre and post op, Andrea and her team in the post op "lounge" to, of course, Dr. Loden with his team who did the surgery. Every single person in the building was friendly and professional, they all seemed incredibly informed about the procedure, process and what my expectations should be. I truly felt like a member of their family, and my big brother was going to do my surgery. Only my big brother was one of the best eye surgeons in the country.

Surgery is scary for anyone, especially on your eyes, and for a procedure that isn't something you "need" in order to survive. I have been wearing glasses or contacts since I was in kindergarten. In 33 years, I have never seen so clearly and I'm not even finished healing yet. Dr. Loden and his staff truly give the gift of sight. I will forever be grateful for my experience there. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering LASIK.

I had lasik done by Dr. Loden nearly a year ago. The staff there was great to work with, they make you feel very comfortable. The procedure itself was very smooth - no pain of any kind, and it went as well as I could have hoped. My dependency on glasses has certainly been minimized, although I do still need reading glasses and I one of my eyes strains to focus while driving in low light situations. I didn't expect the latter, but over all the procedure did indeed minimize my need for glasses - I can now see the clock in the morning, and do outdoor work in dusty situations without getting my contacts messed up, or eye glasses dirty. I would recommend Loden.

I had the pke done on one of my eyes that I had damaged years ago and after it was recovered I didn't have the vision I thought I should have. I went back to have it checked and to tell them my concerns but the doctor got defensive about it. I had the procedure redone now I cant see up close and my eye is very sensitive. If you are thinking about having this done make sure you are ready for the chance that you might end up with more problems than you went in with and they cant do anything about it.

Awesome sevice, and thanks to Dr. Loden and his staff for scheduling me as an out of state patient . I had ILASIK last year and I ended up with better than 20/20. Everything he has said has been spot on. It's well worth the expense not to have to painfully insert those terrible contacts anymore! Best health and wellness decision I ever made to use Loden Vision Center for bladeless ILASIK.

Fred p. I think you answered your own question. They're selling what fattens their bottom line. Loden continues to tell people Lasik is safe. I am still seeing double vision from Lasik surgery done by Dr. Loden. You better make sure your Lasik comes out right the first time otherwise it will be your problem.

What is going on here ? ? ? ? ? My eye doctor ask me to see about cataract surgery so I make an appointment with Loden. The paperwork they sent described additional services NOT covered by insurance costing $ 8,000 - $ 11,000 out of pocket and told me to be ready to pay all of it up front. As an alternate, I had to release them from any liability for misdiagnosed eye disease to do just a regular cataract surgery and all but promised me I would have to wear glasses even if I didn't require them before. WHAT ? ? ? . . . . Right now I only wear glasses when reading fine print. Pretty good for a 66 year old ! So then I call to cancel my appointment. They did so with a smile in their voice, not even offering to reset it for later. Sounded kind of like this happens to them more than once per day. They may be good, but are they selling what I need or what fattens their bottom line ? ? ? ? ?

Loden Vision Center Perfect – I wish I had done it 10 years ago. I am early 40's and cannot believe what I have been missing. I looked at the clock in the room as I was lying down for the laser and could not read it. Less than 3 minutes later I sat up and could read the clock. WOW. Dr. Loden and his staff are wonderful. I have done all of my follow-up visits and every visit and experience is the same. Friendly and Professional. Definately a 5 star experience.

Wonderful!!!! – I had ILASIK last Friday. It was easy, pain free, and great. The staff was professional yet welcoming. They were very helpful from the first time I called to set up a consultation to the very end. I was told I could probably end up with 20/15 and by the next morning that is exactly what I was, 20/15. The evening of my surgery Dr. Loden even called me at home to see if I needed anything and to see how I was doing. That was like 7:00 P.M. Now that's dedication. I would recommend and actually have recommended them to ANYONE!!!. THANKS SO MUCH for helping me be free of the glasses and contacts permanently....

Awesome outcome – Thanks to Dr. Loden and his staff. I had ILASIK yesterday with the guarantee that I would have 20/20 or better. Now it's the day after and sure enough I have 20/20 in both eyes and Dr. Loden says "it will only get better." Everything he has said has been spot on so there is no need to doubt him now. His staff was the nicest people I've ever met in a business environment. If anyone deserves a award it would be Loden Vision Center.
