My family has been buying vehicles at South Easton Motors for the past 20 years and we are totally and absolutely happy with all aspects of this dealership and I continue to highly recommend them. They are all friendly, patient, efficient, caring and really make you feel like you are part of the family. The quality and selection of the vehicles and the buying experience is outstanding. The service is fast, efficient and the pricing is superb. They have taken away the hassle and headaches of owning a vehicle for me, my family and everyone I have recommended to go there. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else, thank you South Easton Motors for being there.
The sales staff are outwardly very friendly, no pressure, etc., but this is part of their overall sales strategy. Beware that when you see a price online, it will be marked about $1000 more on the lot. As soon as the bargaining process begins, they offer to "knock a grand off the top" to halt any further attempts at price negotiation, and will become incrementally less polite if you try to continue. The cars are normally guaranteed for 1000 miles or so, or for about a month - fairly weak when you consider you're paying $6000 (as was my case) for a vehicle. I had also called the day I was going to pick it up and was told that it was delayed because they "had to fix the power mirror switch on the door". Though I wound up picking it up later that day, when I read the vehicle inspection report and saw the time stamp, I realized it wasn't "out for repair" - they sent it out for a quickie inspection five minutes after I called. My headlight fell out on the way home, and it turns out the speakers on the left side didn't work because the door had been replaced due to an accident. As I was in a jam at the time, I couldn't return the car, but then, that's what they specialize in - people who need a car now who don't have many options. I've had it for less that a year and I've had to replace the headlights, window stripping, O2 sensor (twice), catalytic converter, sway bar, sway bar link, brakes, speakers and muffler system. Never again, and I definitely recommend you steer clear of SEMS.

Eric was a pleasure to deal with and resolved a couple of blemishes the vehicle had before we took delivery. We would have no problem recommending South Easton Motor sales to friends and family!
Third Times a Charm – I would like to take a moment to dispel any poor reviews for this business, I am about to purchase my 3rd vehicle from this dealer and plan on going back for my auto needs in the future. I have honestly never gotten a bad shake here and am 100% confident that this dealership will always stand buy its customers. I live on Cape Cod and have no problem traveling over the bridge to purchase an excellant quality vehicle from Derek and the guys at South Easton Motors. There is alot to be said for a Family establishment and this family is heard loud and clear!! Its worth the travel and if you dont find he exact car you are looking for the excellent sales team will find it for you.
Very helpful and would recommend to family/friends – I am a college student who was in the market for a small sedan that was good on gas because in addition to commuting 3 days a week to school, I also have two jobs. I had heard good things about the Ford Focus and about South Easton Motor Sales. I decided to head down to see what they had and decided on a 2005 Focus. I really enjoyed the experience I had at South Easton Motor Sales, I was able to look around the lot without someone breathing down my neck but was greeted by Eric who told me he was available if I had any questions or wanted to see the keys to anything. The purchasing process was very simple and everything was explained to me in full. I was also told that everything would be taken care of for me all I had to do was call my insurance company and let them know I was purchasing a vehicle. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend South Easton Motor Sales to family and friends.
Simple and Easy – My Husband and I were in the market for a Explorer under 12,000.00 and Found South Easton Motor Sales on the Web. We came in on a Saturday and found 9 or 10 to choose from. We test drove 3 before making our decision. We were able to answer alot of our own questions because the price and mileage seemed to be marked on every vehicle.There were too many people in their small office so we had to wait aprprox. 15 minutes before dealing with Eric. Eric was very helpful and took care of a couple of small cosmetics we asked about. We are 5 months into our purchase and everything has been great! Keep up the good work guys!
Great place to do business and great vehicle selection – I was in the market for a used truck and had shopped around a lot. When I came to South Easton Motor Sales I was very impressed with the quality of their selection and their easy going attitude. They had the best prices, and I feel that I got a great deal. I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about. I would definitely do business with them again and would recommend them to my friends.
BUYER BEWARE! AGREE 100% with PRIOR POSTING!!!!! – I have to agree 100% with ScottyRod posting. Was unfairly treated...these guys are shady "used car sales man" Just do your homework, and keep copies of EVERYTHING you sign...trust me! I wish i did!!!!!!
Do NOT go here – They say they're a "Family Business" , but not all families are GOOD , including this one. Very RUDE and unhelpful staff . They sure know how to pretty up a lemon. You'll NEVER talk them down and if you like hidden fees this is the place for you. I wouldn't send an enemy to buy a vehicle from this epitomy of "USED CAR SALESMAN" dealership. Save urself from being ripped off and spit on. These dirtbags will not even smile while they're bending you over and not stopping while Ur screaming ... NOOO. I think I've made my point. During these tough economic times ( and any other times for that matter) take ur time to buy a reliable car from an honest dealership... This is one to definately avoid.
