Mine and my pets HAPPY place – I LOOVE them, I have met everyone there the vet techs and vets treat me and my baby like royalty, they are VERY accomodating, and unlike other places Im not being encouraged to purchase useless things for my pet.

This is the ONLY place I will leave my pet if there is a problem and they need to keep him in boarding for extensive periods, I have that banfield wellness plan for my puppy, but when he is sick for my piece of mind I come here.

The vet is wonderfulllllllll, I love my pumpkin more than ever and even if I move this will be his veterinary clinic for life. I even use this hospital for grooming an boarding my baby boy. DO NOT hesitate to bring your baby here as he or she will be well loved.

Animal Lovers! – I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone in Houston! They are true animal lovers and I was lucky enough to be able to experience that first hand. I found 2 strays in my parking lot at work the other day and called around to every animal shelter and no one would take in these sweet dogs. I went to vet to vet to try and get help and advice on what to do and no one would help me until I was lucky enough to come across Easton Commons Animal Hospital. I ran in there hysterically crying and they comforted me right away and took the dogs in without a blink of the eye. They assured me they would take care of the dogs until we found a safe place to take them to. They kept me updated throughout the process since I had to go back to work as they found a safe shelter that was able to pick them up and hopefully find a good home for them. They are very compassionate people and it truly shined through. If i had a dog of my own there would be no other place I would take it to. They are the best!

wonderful place for pets and people – I want to Thank the doctors and staff at Easton Commons Animal Hospital. You all care about our animals, and are so warm and welcoming when I call or visit, I feel like we are family. We recently lost our oldest dog and the sincere people that you are,, made our difficult time a little easier. The donation to the Arbor Day Foundation in Pepsi's memory was absolutely the best and most thoughtful gift to us. Thanks for being the best!!!!

We found our long term vet!!! – We finally tried Easton Commons, when our dog Fred was having chronic ear infections that were getting worse, and our last Vet (won't mention their name) couldn't seem to solve the problem over six months and multiple visits. The people at Easton Commons were immediately more thorough and professional than any of the other Vets we've been to, and just seemed to know what tests to do. Within two visits they came up with a diagnosis and medication that's obviously working to clear up the problem. In addition to giving us a great feeling of confidence that they would find out what was wrong and fix it, the doc and the staff were all so patient and caring and sensitive and obviously in this out of love for animals. They took as long as we

needed to answer all our questions. And Doctor Osterman was great with Fred. He's a really sweet dog with people he knows, but not the best patient. He doesn't like to be poked at by strangers. Who does? Every other Vet we've taken him to is either too forceful and he ends up snapping at them, or they insist on sedating him for every little thing (which is hard on him, not to mention expensive), or they just give up and say he doesn't really need to have his temperature taken. Doctor Osterman spent a little time getting to know him first and making him comfortable. When he really needed to look in Fred's ears and Fred started getting difficult, he just seemed to know how to be

calm and forceful with him, without being rough. He ended up putting a muzzle on him and Fred didn't even seem to mind, and then he gave in and let Dr. Osterman do what he needed to do without fighting him.

We are really happy with Easton Commons and feel like we've found our long term Veterinarian.

My Dogs LOVE Easton Commons Animal Hospital! – Dr. Osterman has been my family vet for over 15 years. He has always, always been most fair in offering a variety of treatment options when we were faced with a treatment crisis. He and his staff have always gone above and beyond what I believe a typical vet would do for his client. My dogs LOVE to go to the clinic and don't mind boarding; they think of the staff as part of their family!

Dr. Osterman stayed with me on the phone while I had to make the difficult decision to put my 11 year old Westie down. We were at Gulf Coast Veterinary Clinic at his urging due to my dog's complications, and there was nothing else we could do. He was not too busy to help me through that crisis and really cares about the pets and his clients.

You get what you pay for. I have the peace of mind that my dogs get the absolute best treatment and treatment options available, and I have never been pressured to buy anything. I highly recommend Easton Commons Animal Hospital.

Sales, Sales, SALES! – I just moved to Copperfield and unfortunately had to find a new vet. I picked this one because they were close to my house. The office visit alone is twice what I used to pay for the vet I loved, who took fantastic care of my dog.

My dog was in for a specific acute illness, and the doc gave me a guilt trip about getting his teeth cleaned, and that I feed my dog "low quality food" (Iams). They did very VERY expensive tests, and I still have not heard back what was actually wrong with my dog. They sent me packing with antibiotics, probiotics, and much less money than I walked in with.

They kept trying to push the Hills prescription food on me though, several times, saying it's the best. While I don't doubt that, I don't need to pay more for my dog's food than my own. I asked if there was a "middle of the road affordable alternative" and the vet tech replied only that they recommend Hills...

in other words, they're PAID to recommend Hills, and only Hills, and tell everyone not to buy anything else. A GOOD vet would have given it to me straight, but these people are salesmen first and foremost.

Take your wallet, and be prepared to pucker up. I spent more than I've ever spent on a vet visit, for a simple upset stomach... and that includes my emergency vet visit with xrays and all.

I will not return to this office, I cannot afford to shell out hundreds of dollars to high priced dog food salesmen every time my dog needs to be seen. The search for a new vet continues.

Quality Pet Care – I've been taking my pets here for years and while I may spend more than some other vets in the Houston area, I do feel I great the best service and care. I've taken my pets elsewhere before and didn't feel that the doctors were as knowledgable or up-to-date in the current practice of veterinary care as they are at Easton Commons. They make the best recommendations for my pets' health but are willing to work within my budget also. The technicians are also a great asset and take pride in their care for the animals as well.

Excellent animal care, but you pay for it – We've been seeing Dr Osterman and Dr Bernstien for close to 15 years - since before they moved to the building they are in now.

They honestly do want the very best care for your pet, but it will cost you. I don't think they overcharge - I just think they push you to give your pet the maximum care.

The care is excellent. We brought them a stray with a broken hip - they did the surgery (10 years ago) for $250. The cat healed perfectly, and continues to leap up on the mantle and knock anything not glued down on the floor.

They assisted us in caring for a diabetic cat for 4 years.

Currently, we're living with a blind cat (born that way). He's got chronic ratbite in the mouth- they could have just put him on steroids for life - the standard treatment (and probably eventually push this cat into diabetes), but instead had us switch his diet to hypoallergenic food / treat him with Atopica.

This is a very, very new, semi-experimental treatment - and it's working. You don't get this level of knowledge and care just anywhere.

On the be-aware side:

One our cats had his ear bitten by another cat, and as a result the cartilage failed, and the ear partly folded over. One of the vets (not Osterman or Bernstein) recommended surgery to repair it. The fold doesn't affect the cats hearing, and the cat isn't in pain - this was purely cosmetic. We opted NOT to do the surgery. The cat is doing fine to this day - I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any self-image issues or need psychological counseling.

Just be aware- they will offer you every option. Don't be afraid to ask what the consequences are for the pet to NOT have a test, a procedure, or an injection/prescription. They are always very honest with their answers. I asked what the consequences would be for the cat if we didn't do the ear surgery, and they were very honest with me- that's how I decided not to have the fold fixed.

In the end, it's your choice as to how your pet is treated, and what the final bill will be.

Great Vets Here!!!! – I have been coming here with all 3 of my pets for about 3 years and have enjoyed all my visits with each doctor I've seen. I believe there are 2 or 3 regualr doctors and they truly care about my "kids" as much as I do. Sometimes I cant afford everything they recommend, having 3 pets to take care of, but they always work with me and make me feel comfortable about spliting care and coming back in the furture for the rest of it. The quality of the service is worth every penny and you truly do get what you pay for. I will continue to use easton commons as my one and only vet clinic. Also I have been equally satisfied with their boarding and their new groomer Sandy. The staff is very nice and seem to be very knowledgable.

He only cares about money. Animals come last! – If I could give them a zero, I would!!! Please see yahoo reviews before going to this vet. He is awful!!!! There are several people on this site who think he is great, but several more on other sites who have written reviews that are anything but good. PLEASE take it into consideration. It is the health of your pets and the contents of your wallet that are on the line.
