This is a great salon. Everyone is friendly and helpful at the Hair Station. Rose is awesome!!!! Hair colorist extraordinaire! Rose does a wonderful job with my hard to color grey hair and she gives me a great cut as well. I have been going to her for years.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have never had a bad experience when getting my hair cut or colored at any location except this sorry excuse for a salon. I had to re-visit twice due to the original hairstylist Stephanie doing a botch job on my hair color and then doing even a more botch job on my cut. I went back again to have Jennifer correct Stephanie's mistakes. I came in with pictures and then verbalized as many times as I could exactly what was needed for me to be satisfied. I am a platinum blonde to the fullest.. no mistaking that. I left with sandy brown hair and the remains of my once platinum roots still in tact. I asked for a refund from the owner (John) and he said I get half back for their time and product they spent on me. I am furious that they took advantage of me and do not care about my concerns as a customer. They are a corrupt business and they seriously lack the knowledge and experience to perform quality cuts and color. If you care about your experience and of course your hair, do not go here. Please note that through on going dispute, they have now taken my right to half a refund. Upset and appalled that this has happened to me. I do not want any of you to go through what I went through.

Appalling Customer Service and bad work! – I have never written a negative review anywhere, but I felt this deserved to be said...I had my hair highlighted/ombre by Pearl at the Hairstation for the first time, when she first did it, I didn't love the results, but I thought I would wait and see if I liked it later. Well, I didn't, the color was not pretty, it was a brassy blonde and actually had some spots and lines. I know everyone has an off day and I was going to give her a chance to make things better by fixing it. Well, to make a long story short, I was told that I didn't say anything before I left and she did what I asked, so she would have to charge me to fix it. Well, this is bad customer service, so I said that I would just take a refund and go elsewhere...she responded that she could only give me a partial refund because at the end of the day she used product on my hair...REALLY?! Anyways, I will not be going back and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. . UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Great experience! – I hadn't gotten my hair cut professionally in YEARS, but after reading reviews for a local salon I gave Hair Station a try. I received a shampoo/condition and cut from new stylist Stephanie and she definitely took her time with me to make sure she gave me the cut I was looking for. I love my heavy bangs! My hair is thick and naturally curly and she made sure to give me a cut that I can rock both straight and curly! I had a great experience and would recommend this salon and Stephanie to others!

Awesome service – I am soooo happy with this salon, especially Jennifer. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 3 years now, and taken it from dried out and lifeless to healthy and glossy. I have complete strangers walking up to me on the street complimenting me on the color--which Jen has customized just for me :) Somehow she has figured out how to cut it, esp the bangs, so I don't have to wrestle with it every morning and it falls into place just like I want it to. She is warm, friendly, and professional, and I've never had to wait, or even had her work in other clients while I'm under the blow dryer or developer, as so many other stylists do. I even brought my mother to the salon while she was visiting, and she was happier with the cut and style than she's been in years. Said it made her look twenty years younger...hard to beat that! I would highly recommend Jennifer and Hair Station--the prices are reasonable, they are very up to date with styles and products, and I can always count on getting fantastic service.

Worst experience ever – This has been my worst hair experience ever!

I had my hair highlighted by Chris. When I stopped by to make the appointment I was quoted $120 for highlight and cut and then I would get a 20% discount as I work in the shopping center.

After 2½ hrs I had to leave for another appointment so I did not get the cut. He asked if I wanted to pay the entire bill and come back the next for the haircut. I agreed. He then said it was $115. I asked about the discount and he said that was with the discount. I asked what it was before the discount and he said $175. As you can see those numbers don't add up. He said that included the style. So I decided to just pay for the highlights and style ($95) and come back for the hair cut. I did not leave a tip even though I loved my hair (at the time) because I was upset about the raised prices. As I was driving I convinced myself it was ok, and that I would go back for the haircut and leave him a tip then. Right about that time I ran my fingers through my hair. Wow! The bleach had not been rinsed from the back of my head. My hair was a grainy sticky mess back there. I was so upset, I cried all the way to my eyelash appointment. I get there and they were nice enough to help me rinse my hair out (so much for the "style" I had just paid for).

So the next morning, I blow dry my hair and cry again. It is horrible!! I don't know why it was so blended when he styled it, because now it looks like a twelve year old did it with a home kit. I have a bright blond spot at the front that doesn't blend with anything, my roots are a different color then the rest and the back where the bleach was left in is lighter than everything else.

I contacted the owner who sent me a very nice email and offered to set me up with Jennifer today to fix everything. I arrived today and it is obvious she forgot about me. Someone had called about the Groupon now deal and she apparently told them to come on in. They arrived 5 mins after I did. It did not matter as Jennifer was almost finished with my "cut" by then. She didn't even bother with a touch up on the highlights. She was rushed to get through it, not the slightest bit interested in what I wanted, and so only gave me a trim. She also only trimmed my bangs when I requested it. My hair looks no different now then it did at 2pm today. All she wanted was me out of her chair so she could get to the "paying" customer who was waiting. She kept saying my hair looked fantastic, but we both knew it was a lie.

I originally came to the salon in hopes of a brand new look. Instead, I now have to pay a salon to give me an actual haircut.

I have never seen such unprofessional behavior at a salon.

Rose's Shear Magic @ Hair Station – Finding a Hair Stylist is like finding a rare jewel you never want to be without. Rose has been our family stylist for several years. She keeps us looking & feeling good about our hair. She is a good listener when it comes to explaining what look you're wanting to achieve. You will get exactly what you ask. For example, "if you say 1 inch off the back you are going to get 1 inch taken off the back". She devotes her time and has an eye for details. Rose is friendly, stylish and obviously loves what she does. A true professional. No matter what I'm in the mood to do with my hair, she is up to it. If I can't figure out what to do with it, I leave it up to her and walk away with absolutely "FABULOUS" hair. I can't recommend her highly enough!
