Be very careful if you decide to buy a car here! We agreed on a price. Unfortunately I trusted them and didn't review paperwork carefully enough - my fault! They added over $ 2000.00 to the price of the vehicle. When I caught them I brought it to the attention of the salesman, Victor Tabinski. He could care less and his explanation was "the manager did it, you will have to talk to him". The manager, Matt Bukowski, admitted that he did in fact add to the price of the vehicle, after the salesman told me one price.
What they did was take the savings in taxes from my trade ($1900.00) and then added it to the price of the vehicle. His explanation was that if I went to another dealer I would have lost the $ 1900.00 tax savings unless I bought a vehicle from that dealership, so he "decided to add it on to the price" at their dealership because I was going to buy from them anyway. Absurd! I would have easily gone to another Toyota dealership because there a NO other dealerships that would have done this. Lesson learned - review paperwork before signing at this dealership. Its outrageous that they would do something like this but I guess there are a lot of people that unfortunately did what I did and just trusted them and signed the paperwork. The additional $ 420.00 that they charged was for "prepping the vehicle" which they described as "cleaning".
Bong Lee in finance did the financial portion. What I find interesting is that he posted a Google review of how great this dealership is. Any company that needs employees to post reviews to increase ratings is a company that can't be trusted!
I ordered two accessories that needed to be delivered to the dealership. The salesman, Victor Tabinski, and the Finance Manager, Bong Lee, both stated that I could bring my title and second remote/key for my trade to them when they installed my two accessories, since I didn't have them with me at the time of the sale. I appreciated that from them as it saved me a trip back there.
Next, I received a call from Walt McDonald, another sales manager. He began threatening me because I hadn't bought the title and remote/key back to them yet. I explained what his salesman and finance manager told me but he could have cared less also. Obviously the employees at this dealership don't communicate between each other.
On a side note, when the accessories did come in I dealt with Karen Farina in their service department. She couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant to work with! She apologized for the behavior of the entire sales department. The sales staff need to take a lesson from her in being truthful and treating customers the correct way!
Horrible experience with the service department. I am closing in on two weeks without my Tundra. It is bad enough that the truck had a major failure with less than 50k miles on it that isn't covered under warranty. I was supposed to have it back today until I found out later in the day the part still isn't in. I won't be back.

Amazing! – THANK YOU times one hundred, Mr. Filling! I had been stopped by a cop for having one headlight off/burned out. That was my reason for being at Russel Toyota. Upon my arrival, I began my usual explanation about-- please tell any repair men-- Do NOT wind down this window at all-- it's BROKEN. At that, your Mr. Dan Moses told me how that needed to be fixed! I tried to tell him that I was not about to buy a door (as advised). Still, somehow Dan got with a "Pat" in the Service area. This man, Pat--he knows his stuff--he does, Mr. Filling! It took Pat some time, yet against all odds, Pat managed to get that window working like new (up & down)!
exceptional dealer – Cory Snyder was an exceptional salesperson and very pleasant to work with. Our initial contact was via email, and he was very responsive to numerous inquiries leading up to the sale. The process at the dealership was longer than we anticipated, and Cory helped to expedite
the process as much as he could. Overall, we were satisfied and would definitely recommend Russel Toyota to others.
goes the extra mile... – While I was deployed, my salesperson (Cory) was very helpful and able to tell me exactly what was in stock, which assisted me in knowing that I would be purchasing through Russel Toyota (because they had the best price, they were closest to my apartment, and they had what I wanted). He was also able to inform me of what additional vehicles were in stock when I came into the dealership, as I was looking at a few other vehicles. He was very helpful and I will recommend this dealership, and the online buying experience, to all my friends.
Best car buying experience, very happy! – It was low pressure. I got an internet quote that was maybe $500 over invoice, the price of the truck I ultimately chose was competitive with the best local prices, and the salesman & business office accomodated my very busy schedule. Great experience, contrasts with other dealers (including other Toyota dealers) I've dealt with. I'll be back and will recommend Russel to my friends.
Satisfied – Purchased Certified Toyota on condition that they would repair paint damage that was uncharacteristic for a 10 month old car... this is supposed to be part of certification criteria; free of damage to exterior, chips, scratches, damage to bumbers, etc... ours had all of the above. After a few trips back and fourth and a few phone calls the repairs have been completed and the car looks good. Took about a week for the actual repairs. We are satisfied with the outcome.
Best car purchase! – Danny was great. It was my first time buying a car and I was nervous. He was very understanding and took the time to walk us through everything. I would certainly recommend him to friends and family.
Great all around! – Just wanted to let you know that I was very impressed with the service I got from Tony Martin when I recently bought an 09 Toyota Tacoma from you. He was friendly, professional, accomodating, and did a great job communicating where we were in the process and next steps. I don't think I've had a more pleasant car buying experience.
