29.522481 -98.638587EXCELLENT PIZZA. If you want EXCELLENT FOOD, NO BS New York style pizza and Italian food with real EXCELLENT tasting sauce, make a point to eat at this place. What a *&&(*&()& blast to get cheap pricing and still have the quality being served.
Place has excellent food, new owners and not a dive like is was reviewed in 2005. The pricing is really cheap for the high quality of food being served.. The new owners have been in place since August of 2006. They have done an excellent turnaround with the decor and quality of food being served. Their gravey (Sauces are cooked nearly 5 to 6 hours, NOT Ragu) I know since I was an employee at the restaurant. Their new theme is come to relax, enjoy your cold beer and fine dishes being served. They also provide live entertainment on Saturday nights and no cover charge. You must try their Calzones and also their Supreme Pizza. These people are from New York he will show his Birth Certificate and challenges all those claiming to make a New York Style Pizza.
Excellent Place on Saturday nights.
The only thing i can say that's good about this place is on Saturday nights is a blast with kareoke. Im not really a pizza eater but they do have really good pizza and other great dishes.
It's a good place to hang were you can bring the kids a long and they will have a blast while you have a blast but only on Saturdays........
TERRIBLE service!!.
waitress/bartender was rude, questioned our request for silverware, wanted to take our order before we could both look at the ONE paper menu at the table. rude response to a question about the salad on our order. Gave change in 10 ones, as if expecting a tip!!!
ambience: extremely loud, synthetic elevator music. cold and dark inside. Looks like a dive bar, not a restaurant.
We waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes for our order of spagetti and meatballs (2 plates). They said it took so long because the pasta was freshly made, however it was difficult to tell the difference. the sauce tasted like ragu from HEB. Small portions, salty. Cost: $8.50 per plate. I didn't try the pizza, but they looked very big.
the place sucks for eating. would be ok as a bar, except they only serve bud, miller, and shiner (may be ok for some).
