This tiny Victorian Rosedale bungalow specializes in coffee, but is the kind of place where you can always enjoy a cozy, tea-sipping rendezvous with a buddy.

Cute, quaint, comfy, friendly and tasty! – This is a nice little place with good coffee and a very friendly staff. South American motif interior. No wireless internet.

A bit pretentious, but well worth it – I just moved to Austin from Dallas, where I am used to Starbucks being on every corner and only a few cool, locally-owned coffee houses in existence. Austin is replete with these, and some of them are every bit as pretentious as a Dallas Starbucks, but in that singular "Austin" way; and don't act like you are not every bit as pretentious than Dallas, Austin, but in a different and more fun way. This place seems to have a bit of that "I am hipper than you, more artsy than you, listen to more live music than you, and am more well-read than you so don't make eye-contact with me" vibe that seems prevalent since moving here.

HOWEVER....the coffee is excellent, the food is reasonably priced and tastes great, and they even have some vegan options-yes, Dallas lost one of it's five or six vegans when I moved here! I was quite put off when I was told that they will not take credit or debit cards for a purchases under five bucks, but it was well worth it when I came back with cash. Well done Pacha! I look forward to many more stops.

Good lil' coffee spot – Greeaaaat coffee!!, great atmosphere, and friendly customer service. Went there with friends and we sat on the front porch and chatted. It was very relaxing. Their nutty banana bread was such a treat.!! Totally loved it! Definitely will go back there.

They make you charge at least $5 on your credit card – The coffee was delicious, and made exactly to my specifications. But they expected me to charge at least $5. They wouldn't budge, and I had to pay cash. They should either price their coffee higher, or stop taking credit cards.

This homey coffee shop specializes in fair-trade beverages and house-made treats. – In Short
The two sisters who own Pacha have decked out the converted bungalow with tables covered in colorful oilcloth and charmingly mismatched wooden chairs. On nice days, the individuals or pairs of friends that frequent opt to sit on the front or back porch, or grab a sunny spot by one of the picture windows. The emphasis is on top-quality beverages and food, with organic,fair-trade coffees from South America and many items--such as empanadas, soups and breakfast tacos--made from scratch.

AWESOME soy chai lattes (hot/cold), pacha lattes, bfasts/snacks & occasional special dinners! – The atmosphere here suits me very well, as it is eclectic (with a funky southwestern vibe) and comfortable. Makes a great 'third place' to hang out (besides @ home & work). There is some outdoor seating on front & back porches.

I especially enjoy the soy chai and pacha lattes, but the fruity/acai smoothies are also very good and the baked & savory treats alike are often tempting & satisfying.

Inquire about upcoming special dinners that are held approx. monthly. The chef is great puts obvious care into each course of the meal. Reservations required for those dinners.

My favorite coffee house ever – These folks payattention to details: incredible, flavorful, fair-trade coffees and teas; a breakfast special that includes eggs, scrambled with spices and colorful vegetables, served on a portobello mushroom, accompanied by incredible black beans, fresh cherries, and small pieces of exquisite bread. A skilled chef (husband to one of the sister-owners), prepares the wonderful food, which is nutritious, tasty, and beautifully presented. Once a quarter, they host a fancy dinner, $28 each, that features a choice of entrees, soup/salad, and desserts, similar to what one would receive in a 4-star restaurant, served in authentic, intimate surroundings.

Pachalicious – This is one of the few coffee shops in town that understands true hospitality. The owners, two sisters, pay attention to every detail of their business, from the tasteful, folk-painted furniture to the handmade crafts for sale. But the best thing about Pacha by far is the drinks. They make everything from scratch--including loose leaf tea and french press coffee--and have an extensive food menu. The Pacha Latte is dee-licious, and the breakfast tacos are the best I've found west of I-35. Definitely a place to spend some quality time.

Love it! – I LOVE Pacha and have no idea why it has not caught on more. The coffee is good and the treats are unique - south American - empanadas, saltenas. There is also a great back patio when the weather is nice. Many south American treasures are sold there as well - although the prices are pretty high. I have been there when local folk musicians have been there and it is wonderful. This is a locally owned shop (two sisters) and they do a good job. If you like coffe (or tea) try it out! Also, the Pacha Mama smoothie is wonderful!
