Schon Builders General Contractors. I am Senior Project Manager for Schon Builders and have been with them for three years. These negative comments have been written by a disgruntled employee who was fired from the job for ineffiiency and theft. Schon Builders have done several prestegious projects and completed them successfully. We do not put financial burden on owners in fact we work hand in hand with the owners and try to accomodate thier demands without change orders. Schon Builders is not going anywhere, we are here to stay. We are very competetive in pricing and are always looking to get new projects. They will make your business suffer. This company has a very poor reputation for building hotels. They lack the knowledge necessary to build a decent product and have a reputation of manipulating all sub contractors and hotel owners. Before you think of entering into business with them, consider the fact that they have fired their entire company because they refuse to pay them. They have changed their company name and forced their current projects in financial harm. They have neglected their hotel owners and forced 100% of the burden onto them. They do in fact build "ONE OF A KIND" project, however...That is if you consider that they take two to three years to finish a prototype hotel. This company is a joke, and I would advise all who enter into business with them to be warned and contact the current hotel ownership before considering them. I am sure that all of them will have nothing good to say, and can refer you to REAL hotel builders...
Good Experience.
I read all the published reviews and dont agree with them. i have worked with this company on not only only but several projects as it is a big company and doing huge hotel jobs. everyone can have thier own opnion but i personally had good experience with them. they are doing one of a kind projects with different structures. I m in this industry for long enough time to expect little delays in payments however it didnt happen that i didnt get paid at all.
i am sure if they wouldnt pay their subs and vendors they wouldnt be building so many projects.
In my opinion its a good company and have good prospects in future.
Schon's Counsel Jason Charles Ciarochi. The attorney representing Schon is also counsel of record for Timothy Darnell of Advantage Conferences. Together these clowns sued the Dallas Better Business Burea and lost that frivolous suit in Summary Judgment. Advantage Conferences had its accounts garnished. Jason Charles Ciarochi then filed a frivolous, harassment case against me for blogging about that adjudicated pyramid scheme. Tim Darnell fabricated allegations of me stalking him and sending him death threats. He accused me of libel, slander and defamation etc. He and his attorney Ciarochi never produced a single false statement made by me and I won in Summary Judgment. Jason Sharles Ciarochi filed that case knowing it was based on total lies and fabrications and misrepresentations. All the source documents are on scribddotcom.
Bad Service,. This company owes us a significant amount of money. It's the same all the time, "next week", "this weekend", etc. They also want us to finish the work first, disregarding the payment plan and or contract. We did it once, and didn't get paid. So we're not doing it again, We have current jobs pending, but since the debt has gotten out of hand, everythin is on hold with them. Please think twice about doing business with them. Also I agree with a previous review, the owner drives VERY expensive cars.

I interviewed w/ the owner of this company last week for the position of Senior PM.
The owner shared w/ me he needs help with setting up his company from top to bottom,
starting w/ costing analysis to helping with his safety program.
Be ADVISEDTHIS MAN MADE ME AN AGREED UPON OFFER,SALARY PLUS
AFTER 60 DAYS HE WOULD BONUS ME $10,000.00, THEN AFTER 1 YEAR, ONCE
THE COMPANY WAS UP AND RUNNING, HE WOULD ADJUST MY SALARY AND BONUSES
BASED UPON MY CONTRIBUTIONS. BASICALLY HE WANTED ME TO RUN HIS COMPANY.
NO PROBLEM!!!!!
RESIGNING FROM MY PREVIOUS POSITION, WITH THE EXCITMENT OF THE NEW
POSITION, I STARTED LEARNING WHAT HIS EXPECTATIONS OF ME WERE ALL ALONG.
NOT ONLY DID HE CUT MY BASE PAY $3,000.00, HE CUT OUT THE BONUSES GOING
AGAINST OUR AGREEMENT. HAS THIS MAN BUMPED HIS HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
IT ONLY TOOK 4 DAYS OF WORKING FOR THIS MAN, TO FIGURE OUT THAT HE IS NOT
WHAT HE HAS PRESENTED HIMSELF TO BE. AGAIN GIVING HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO
MAKE THINGS RIGHT, HE CHOOSE AGAIN TO BE DISHONEST.
I REALLY FEEL FOR THE OWNERS DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
FROM FIRST HAND EXPERINENCE, THE HOLIDAY INN,QUALITY INN AND ALL OHTERS,
SUCH AS THE SHOPPING CENTERS IN MESQUITE,CEDAR HILL AND FORTWORTH,WILL
DISCOVER THAT THIS MAN NOT ONLY DOESN'T PAY HIS BILLS (SUBCONTRACTORS),
HE'S BUYING $120,000.00 CARS W/ THEIR MONEY. GUYS RUN LIKE HELL..........
I REALLY HOPE THAT THIS MAN WILL SOMEDAY REALIZE THE IMPACT HE HAS HAD ON
OTHERS LIVES AND FAMILIES. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL.
