Disappointed with work – As my system was being finished I pointed out areas that just were not adequately covered by water. Several adjustments were made but I still have many problems. A large number of the heads just gurgle and many do not even have enough pressure to get out of the ground. I pointed this out to his crew and they dug around some more. The owner was off on other jobs most of the time. The last day the owner was here he was fixing a line on my neighbor's property that his crew had broken. I expected to talk to him when he was finished and show him the bad areas but he left without a word. He should have followed up on the problems and checked with me. I haven't seen him or talked to him since but I'm sure he know this was not his best work! I did not get the quality I paid for. I have dead, dry plants to prove it!!

Qualified, Professional and Respectful – When I read the review by jlvollmer, I was astounded. I know the owners of this business and they are highly respected in the community. They have many clients throughout the area, both residential and commercial. When I spoke with the owner about this complaint, I got a vastly different story. Here then, according to the owner, is What Really Happened:

Customer calls and requests service. Company explains to customer that they are happy to flush his system but cannot guarantee a permanent fix . . . because THEY DIDN'T INSTALL THE SYSTEM! Sure enough, about a week later, the problem recurs. Customer calls to have it flushed again. Company explains that they won't be able to get to it for another 2-3 days. Customer calls the next day demanding to know when company will be there. Company reminds customer that they've already explained it would be a couple of days. Customer rants. Customer calls again and chews out the mother of the owner (who simply answered the phone), calling her an "idiot". Owner calls to inform customer that this is unacceptable and that he will no longer do any work on his behalf. Customer doesn't answer. After several tries, owner leaves message which, while perhaps mildly threatening, was both provoked and justified; i.e., customer made it personal.

jlvollmer says this company doesn't guarantee their work. That's not true. They just can't guarantee somebody else's work. jlvollmer also complains that the company can't get to him according to his timetable. Ironically, vollmer is actually making the case for this company, because only companies that are in-demand get backlogged (requiring work schedules), and only good companies are in-demand. In short, this is a highly qualified, professional business. They are respected and respectful. Call them and ask for references. Don't listen to the ravings of one disgruntled individual with nothing better to do than rant about a $50 job that he was warned ahead of time would not be sufficient.

Avoid at all costs – This company came out to fix our sprinkler system one day. The zone was staying on all the time, flooding the grass. They replaced the vavle and it seemed to fix the problem. I had no problems with this company at this time.

One week later, the same thing happened; the zone was staying on all the time, flooding the grass.

I called the company to come back out and fix it. I had to call 3 time to get anyone to call me back. When someone did call back, they said they did not know when they would be able to come out again since they were so busy. I told them that my grass needed to be watered since it was dying off and I needed the problem fixed.

I called several times to try and get a committment date for them to come back out. I was then told that I would have to pay again to have the system fixed again, since "they do not guarantee their work." (actual quote). This was for the same repair!

Over a week passed since first talking to them. On this day I was frustrated to see my grass dying and their unwillingness to come back out. I called and told the secretary that I was going to get this fixed by another company and would be sending them the bill.

Well, then I get a voicemail from the owner. The voicemail said this "...you are not going to call and be rude to my secretary or you will have a lot more problems than a broken sprinkler..." I was threatened by the owner of the company. Unbelievable.
