I usually don't do reviews, but I felt like there were not enough reviews on here for people to get a good insight about Cau Chin. However, I will try to keep my review short.

This is the third time I have visited Cau Chin. He usually speaks about treating others with kindness and respect. Common things that we have heard many times before, but don't seem to act out in our daily lives. The two times I went to him before he did not give a speech like he did this third time, but when you talk with him he mentioned these things. He is very spiritual and can come off as arrogant. I think one thing people should think about before they past judgment on him is the number of people that he has encountered who have come to him with complaints and desired things that are not meant for them. Even if you are notreligious/spiritual just listen to what he has to say objectively and you will go home with more wisdom than you came in with.

As far as the as his readings go he is pretty spot on. He might do some things with cards to show you your birth date among other things. He speaks fast and with a rhythm so you have to listen carefully. He may tell you information that you don't want to hear or something that will make you feel awesome. That's just the decision you need to make before seeing him.

Overall its a great spiritual experience. If you ever have the chance to experience meeting cau chin you will go home enlightened and with a million thoughts rolling through your mind. Donations are not required but I try to give what ever I can when I go see him.

Mixed feelings – Having observed the ongoings and/or being a volunteer for over 4 years, I'd have to say..............

He's a good man - his heart is in the right place - but some things he kept telling me over & over (for several years) just did Not happen - it was way off...........

The volunteers, for the most part, lack unity - and manners and miss the "golden rule" altogether: "Treat others as you would like to be treated." Most are on their personal ego or power trip, sadly - a big distraction to what Cau Chin is trying to teach.

Overall, a rather disconcerting & odd experience -

great experience – by far the best spiritual experience i've ever had! master Chin told me things only i know about me and my family. great thing about seeing him is that he gives you a peace of mind, and really does try to help you overcome your problems. He's very straight forward and doesn't sugarcoat anything so be ready to hear the truth!. Thank you Master Chin!

A Good Force, Yes indeed... – The Force be strong with this one... as soon as you enter near the presence of this great Master your mind will suddenly go "BLANK"... as he talks to you it may be very difficult to keep up with him for this reason... after all he is a Monk who have spent years meditating... What allows Master Cau Chin to know what he knows, is through his mindful state of pure Awareness which is not that of the rational thinking mind... his way is of "Consciousness"... it is of "Beingness"

Much Respect.

Psychic experience – Most humiliating public experience ever! While this "monk's" fame in the psychic realm may be quite good. His social skills most certainly aren't. Because of a misunderstanding on the part of his volunteers, I was publicly humiliated, yelled at, scolded in a very rude way, and left feeling very disappointed in the way he treated me. Yes I was late, but I was new to his system and had come from out of town. I was told to stay even though I repeatedly said that I understood he was busy and was more than willing to come back another time. His volunteers insisted I stay as he might want to see me. They came back a few minutes later and said for me to go at 5:30 to his temple where he could see me at that time. I really had to get back to Austin because I am night blind and did not want to drive back in the dark. I told the volunteers this not so they could get me in, but so they could cancel. Instead they insisted so much that I believe Mr. Chin thought I was being pushy. Which clearly I was not, I told his helpers that I really did not want to impose but I wanted to do the right thing by informing him that I could not keep the p.m. appt. I should have just left but they kept insisting that it was wrong of me to leave without informing him. Well he thought I was being bellingerent when it was his assistants who misinformed him. He started yelling at me down the hallway saying I should just leave. He then called me forward and in the hallway proceeded to say I was lying about my night blindness and was trying to manipulate my way in. When I tried to explain what really happened he didn't want to hear and basically told me to listen to him. His whole stance and body language was seething with anger at me. He continued to tell me all kinds of things many true but some were not. I felt completely berated and humiliated and was so dumbfounded that a supposedly "spiritual" person was treating me like this in front of an audience, that I just stood there speechless. Worst and most humiliating experience of my life. He told me next time I went to get there early. Well Mr. Chin I will never see you again. You need to listen and not jump to conclusions or harsh judgments about people. Shame on you because it was never my intention to incur your wrath and be publicly humiliated. I just wanted to run out with what little dignity you left me with. For someone so "enlightened" you need to learn to treat people better.

Cau Chin...Get Ready for Cool Experience – Ask anybody if they have been to Cau Chin at a dinner party or a bar in Houston, and they will say yes and tell you that he at least told them one thing that he could not have possibly known. Bring your most skeptical friends, and they will be surprised when they leave. Yes, he's very entertaining and has shared accurate info with many people I know.

First of all, they have a dress code. From what I remember, no shorts or hoochie clothes are allowed. He is religious, so dress respectfully. You will also need to remove your shoes before your session begins, so wear socks.

Bring a an old-fashioned tape to record the session and a good book to wait for your name to be called out. By the way, the place is surrounded by books.

Write out all of your questions in advance. Don't be shocked if he calls you by a nickname that your grandparents used to call you when you walk in. You could write John Doe on the wait list, and he would still know your personal nickname and birth year too.

He will tell you to drink water, eat right, exercise, and pray to God. He will tell you to be good to your parents and not to gossip. He will give you a chronological reading and then ask you what your questions are. Refer to the questions you wrote down, and don't stall or your session will be over.

He does share bad and good news. He uses playing cards and sometimes marks on people with a pen.

He has a host or hostess who controls the masses from Texas who come to see him . He also has someone who delivers him food, because he is there all day trying to see all of his clients. He might be eating during your session or taking a quick call during the session too...don't take offense, he's just multi-tasking.

He accepts donations at the end of the reading, and one discreetly drops it in the box. I recommend at least giving him $20 at the end of the session.

Oh, he is on Facebook, and there is an Experience Page about going to see him.
