Awful Place! – I use to work there and let me say, they are the worst company to work for. The management doesn't care about anyone except the stylists and their bottom line. Customers are a second thought to them and overcharge for everything. I have seen the manager verbally abuse their workers in front of customers. Daireds is not a place where I would feel comfortable going back to have any service even though honestly, the people who are working there are for the most part competent and pleasant. If I could give them no stars I would.

poor customer service. high prices – I was charged 205 dollars for highlights and a root touch up. My hair is very short. I barely had any root showing. The highlight charge was 85 dollars which is not bad at all. But the root touch cost another 85 dollars and then they charged me for a toner. That was an additional 35 dollars. All of which was never

explained to me, and was 20 dollars a piece over the quoted price online. I called to make a complaint about the pricing and was basically told that's what the stylist charge and they can't do anything about it. I asked why i wasnt told what charges i was going to occur and they said it was my responsibility to ask.

I also requested to make a complaint with owner and was told by management that i would recieve a f/u call from him ( never did). And the kicker is my highlights are already washing out and it hasnt even been

two weeks yet!!! I was told they can reapply another "toner" but it would not be free. I have been to other higher end places such as ulta and visiable changes etc. and never have been charged that much, also they stand by there work, and if you have problems with color they will fix it at no additional charge.

Friendly staff – After a hair disaster at another hair salon, I went to Daired's at the recommendation of my husband. He had always received good haircuts at Daired's no matter who his stylist was. I had an appointment with a random stylist and told her what had happened at the other hair salon. She listened to what I said and ended up giving me a fabulous haircut (which probably looked better than the original haircut I was trying to get). To me, it's always awkward to talk to a stylist for an entire hour or so, since I don't really know them, but she talked just enough. Not too little, not too much. Thanks, Daired's.

Skip this place. Not worth the price. – Definitely not worth the money and the hype. The robe they gave me did not have a fresh laundry sent, but more like it had been sitting in a locker room for months. I tried Darieds out for a deep tissue massage. The therapist was a nice lady, but she didn't do a great job staying focused on the the target areas we had previously discussed.

Simply the Best! – As a reward to honor my decision to stop smoking, I researched many spas to pick the "perfect day" to help me relax, detoxify my body, and raise my spirits. A day at Daireds turned out to be the greatest blessing I ever could have found! The staff was very courteous, professional, caring. They were determinded to make my day the very best possible...and it was!!! Each staff member shared in my celebration with my life-altering decision to be a non-smoker. They cheered me on and helped me to reach one more day in the process of quitting. They were very timely in getting me from one treatment to the next. Their hospitality was top notch! They would ask if I needed anything at any time. The treatments that I indulged in were the hydrotherapy bath, mud body wrap, and facial. Each of these was completely worthwhile. The facials at Daireds are fabulous! Daireds staff took the time to meet with me to help me in choosing what was right for my skin and how to improve my overall health. I can't wait to go back and celebrate 1 month of non-smoking at Daireds! The day I spent at this spa is one day that I will never forget! Please...go and indulge yourself there...you will not regret it at all! Well worth the money!!!

Great salon and spa – The review posted by mojogirl could not have been more wrong. I have gone to this salon for 11 years, both for salon and spa services. I have never been pressured to buy any products. The service is professional but also personal. I noted the review was posted on 12-16-2005. Any establishment 9 days before Christmas would have to be somewhat hectic. The music mentioned by the reviewer was said to be so loud the stylist could not hear the customer. I certainly have never encountered anything like that in all the years I have gone there. I am always offered complimentary tea or water. Any salon that employs a large number of people would in all probability not appeal to everyone, but to label Daired's Salon & Spa Pangea "loud and crude" is unfair after just 1 visit. I'm also curious about this review being the only one shown when there were other favorable reviews.

Extra touches at Arlington's premier salon-spa include pedicures-with-a-view and fireside massages. – The Scene
A cavernous reception area and rumbling fountain welcome patrons to this spa-salon. Locker rooms offer curtained areas for those who prefer to disrobe in privacy. Carpeted, dimly lit and comfortable, each taupe-colored massage room has a different cultural theme--Tibetan, Polynesian, African. The Mayan Room boasts its own fireplace. Nail services are performed opposite a row of picture windows overlooking a tree-shaded glade.

The Services
The spa unites treatments from far reaches of the globe. Hydrotherapy baths contain exotic ingredients like Rooibos tea--a natural antioxidant imported from the African Cape of Good Hope. The Thai manicure combines hand stretching and reflexology with a scrub concocted from Kemiri Nut and honey. Tibetan botanical massage loosens muscles with the aid of warmed, detoxifying ayurvedic herbal oils. An exfoliant of Napa Valley cabernet grapes and grape-seed oil is used in several different treatments.

The Details
Massage, body treatments, facials, hair removal, manicure/pedicure, full-service salon, makeup application.

this place is loud & crude – By reading the reviews, I really was excited to go to this salon. I was unpleasantly surprised. When I walked in, they were very unorganized. I waited forever for my appointment. Then the music was so loud on the intercom my stylist couldn't hear me talk. They kept pushing me to buy all of this weird stuff in their lobby after I said I wasn't interested - several times. While waiting they said, can we offer you a drink. I said "yes" thinking it was "special treatment". When I got my bill, the drink was on my bill. Some special treatment. I could have bought a coke for $.50. Stay away, they really have a big head and don't treat you as an individual. It is a cattle call.

Great staff with tons of talent! – This place is fabulous! I moved here a year ago and stumbled upon it by accident and I will never go anywhere else in the D/FW area for salon or spa needs! The staff is very friendly and talented. They are also very attentive to your needs. They do what YOU want, not what they want. A little bonus - sometimes while getting your hair washed, a complimentary hand massage is given! There's nothing better than someone wahing your hair & massaging your hands - very relaxing! Food and drinks are available. The prices are competitive - it's worth every penny.

Weight has been lifted. – New to Texas, and not living in the big city of Dallas, I had no clue where to go for pedis and other beauty needs. the staff here is wonderful. The technician Jennifer did such a great job on my eyue brows that I request her specifically. The hair stylist was patient with listening to what I wanted, and talked over everything before she snip snipped.
