good service, cold beer, the food? urrr.....read on please...... If you are unfamiliar with authentic Indian food then you will probably find this place to be OKAY, but for those of you who KNOW and want true Indian food....the spicy kind, exploding with flavor.... i think you will find Sitar a bit disappointing. As for the faithful followers of Sitar please "listen" to what i am saying.... yes the food tastes good, but it is lacking terribly in spices and flavor!!! Lets use Mexican food for an example....... you can find a Mexican resturant on every corner here, and if you are from here you KNOW good Mexican food (the spicy kind, exploding with flavor) from not so good Mexican food, right? Do you see where i'm going with this? I do wish them luck, but in the meantime will search elsewhere when i crave good indian food..... i hope i dont have to wait until i go back to England! :P
Clean, but not true Indian. This is one of the cleanest Indian resturants that I have been. It has good decoration, and its quiet. I liked their buffet. Almost all the foods tasted good. Lots of tender lambs and chicken, but they are not as spicy as an Indian food should be. So if you don't like Spicy food, this is a great Indian Buffet for you. I would like a true spicy Indian taste, because I don't like the add on chilli taste.
Good food and nice interior.. We have been going to Sitar for a few years now and the food has always been good - - as good as any other Indian restaurant in the area. In addition, its interior is nice. Too many Indian restaurants care little about their interior design. Sitar's interior is stylish with bold colors on its walls, making for more atmosphere than your average Indian restaurant. I personally like the lamb sheesh kabob. The mint chutney is very good, too.
