A very special talent in Dallas! – Every time I see Felini at Phillip K Thomas I'm reminded why I not only enjoy the experience but also how dependable, professional and honest he is in the care and color of my hair. Felini has been working with me since another salon nearly destroyed my hair with bleach. The result of his confidence and talent providing me healthy hair and beyond beautiful color. Felini is a very special talent in Dallas. Anyone who seeks an honest, heartfelt approach to haircare will not be disappointed!

Felini is the best at Phillip Thomas! – Felini at Phillip Thomas has been making miracles out of my hair for several years (too many to admit!). He matches my color exactly while giving it shine - the cut is always terrific and the finish blow dry is great. I walk out feeling fabulous every time. Recently I tried the Brazilian Blow Out and love it! Smoother and shiiner than ever. I've sent friends to Felini and they love him too! Thanks Felini - you set the bar!

Phillip K Thomas salon is the Best – I moved here from NYC recently and a coworker recommended this salon to me. I was a little hesitant to go to a new place, but the salon blew my mind!

Phillip was my stylist, and he made my color pop and brought life back to my style........ I left VERY happy and look forward to going back again!!!!!!! Everyone there was friendly and welcoming, THANK YOU PHILLIP K THOMAS SALON!

UGH-I've never walked out of a hair appointment until HERE – I drove 45 minutes from where I live to get to the appointment, paid for childcare, only to find Philip was about 30 minutes behind. I don't care- I had gotten lost and was 15 min late myself. But he got me into the chair and said, "What are you wanting me to do with THIS?" as he touched my hair. I explained that I had had high dose chemotherapy in my 30's and this was 3 years worth of post-chemo growth hair- tragically thin, fine, and VERY fragile and easily damaged....which I highlight around every 2-3 months. He then said, "I can't tell if this is damage or just a weird texturizing and cutting attempt, but it's going to have to be cut quite a bit." I was then told how bad my hair was by Philip PULLING SEVERAL STRANDS OF MY HAIR OUT- TO DEMONSTRATE how easily my hair comes out! He then said, "I wouldn't expect any miracles" and left without another word- apparently to attend to other clients for the next 20 minutes. I got up and walked out amid a host of staff without anyone so much as noticing and nothing having been done at all except the loss of my gas and time, as well as a slightly lower self esteem. :-/ I've never left an appointment before it even started before.....and no one ever called to check on why, apologize, nothing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Go to Destination for Haircare & Skincare – I've gone to Dane at PKT for as long as I can remember... he is AMAZING! He makes my long hair feel light and look shiny... I am constantly getting compliments on how great it looks.

Jacqueline does facials. Let me tell you that I don't really like facials, but hers are amazing! You get out of there feeling refreshed and ready to tackle your day - and your skin looks great.

Phillip did my makeup and Dane did my hair for my wedding. They both turned out fantastic and I would not change a single thing about how it turned out!

LOVE Phillip K. Thomas... I would highly recommend them!

Great wedding-day hair! – My daughter had her hair done in an up-do twice by JJ before her wedding day. The first time we went in, JJ spent so much time with my daughter to get the hair-do she had in mind. She even stopped after about 30 minutes and started over when she realized this was not what my daughter wanted. My daughter did not bring a picture with her to give the stylist an idea of what she wanted, she only described what she wanted in words. She was happy with the final result and went again for an appointment with JJ for her bridal picture hair-do. Once again, JJ was patient and made sure that Kristin was happy with her hair before she left. On the day of the wedding, we were told that JJ was home with a high fever and that Roger would do her hair for the wedding. Immediately I was worried that Kristin's hair would be a disaster because we didn't have the time to spend practicing with a new stylist. I sat on the seat next to my daughter as Roger was doing her hair. The day was rainy and we decided to move the wedding ceremony indoors, but I was still worried that her hair might fall before the wedding. Her hair was absolutely stunning!! Roger pinned it and sprayed it so that it stayed put right through the reception dinner. So many people who have seen the wedding pictures commented on how beautiful her hair was. I read the other review where the bride was so disappointed and I am so sorry that she did not get the result she had in mind, but we were thrilled with our results - so much so that I had to HUG Roger because we were so happy!! The staff was friendly to us all three times we were there and made us feel right at home. I definitely recommend this salon!!

Rude staff – I would not recommend this place to anyone. The person working the front desk was very rude and I was treated horribly just because the stylist they put me with no longer worked there. He acted like I was an idiot and tried to act like he had no idea who I was talking about when I told him who my appointment was with. I managed a salon for many years and would NEVER have let a client show up to an appointment, when I knew the stylist no longer worked there. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that he was one, but had only been there 5 days. He did not even try to put me with another stylist and just said "sorry, bye" . Maybe they should rethink their "new hire" manager.

Professional, convenient and talented – Phillip is awesome! I dropped in to see him without much notice. They squeezed me in last minute and were friendly. He immediately understood how to get rid of brassy, tired and frizzy hair. He was realistic and needed little direction. I have never had highlights and a cut done that quickly! Phillip has great style and he "gets it." I thought he was very talented as a styist, yet extremely humble. He did a wonderful job and I would definitely return to him again.

Most horrendous experience I?ve ever had!! – This was the most horrendous experience I?ve ever had. I was going to be in Dallas for a family wedding, wanted my hair done in an updo. I scheduled an appt with the owner based on his resume on their website. That day I got a call 3 hrs before the appt staying that the owner had gone home sick; they had rescheduled me with Roger. I asked if he was really good because I wanted the updo a certain way and I had pictures. They ensured me that he was fantastic. I was seated right away, I showed 6 detailed pictures of how I wanted it. He had a blank look on his face; right away I had an ill feeling. After he completed the 1st section, I had to ask him to fix it, explained how I wanted it fixed. The 2nd section was even worse than the 1st, very inconsistent, uneven; again I had to explain how to fix it. His comment was "I'm not her (my regular stylist), I'm not going to do it exactly like her." I replied, "I know that you are not her, it won't be exact, but I'm just asking for it to be somewhat similar." By the 3rd section I was crying in his chair. I had to ask him to fix it again. As he started putting on the final hair spray, I stopped him, said, "I don't think we have the same vision, this is not what I wanted, this is nothing close to the pictures." He stopped me by saying, "maybe I need to get you someone else to finish your hair." He walked off, the receptionist came back, asked me what the problem was. I showed her the pictures, said this is what I asked for, this is not what I got. She looked at them, said, "it is very close." I was shocked... was she looking at the same pictures as me? Then said that there was no one else, all the other stylist had already gone home and if I was truly unhappy that she wouldn't charge for it... I replied, I wouldn't pay for it. A bird's nest on top of my head would have looked better, at least it would have been even. It was so horrific, I had to take it down and redo it before the wedding. I DO NOT recommend this place!!!
