I guess this place has gone downhill?.
From past reviews, I can't believe we ate at the same restaurant. Our group of 8 showed up around 8pm. The place was d-e-a-d. Just another table of 6 that was leaving. The service was, at best, inept and confused. Getting a glass of wine (horrible by the glass selections) was a chore and I had to get up and tell the waiter twice that two of the eight salads at our table were missing. The house dressing was great. Too bad it was thrown on top of sparce bagged lettuce. Salmon to die for? Not even on the menu. Romantic ambiance? Sure, if you like lighting bright enough to light up a football stadium. Music? Don't expect much other than the radio being turned up when you sit down. I had Eggplant Rolatini, which was OK if you could stand the musty mold odor of the marinara sauce. The accompanying pasta was old and dried out. After dinner we were still the only ones in the restaurant, but we still had to get up and go to the cashier to get our check. This place is awful. Want really GOOD Italian in San Antonio? try Ciao Lavanderia or Massimo. We definitely won't be back here.

Great Food and Environment.
My wife and I enjoyed excellent Italian food and were provided with excellent service. We also enjoyed outstanding jazz music that was provided by a group of outstanding young musicians. This created a terrific atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed! We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back for the food, and hopefully, for the outstanding jazz music

The Salmon is to Die For!.
I have been to the restaurant many times. The owners are always very pleasant. They always take the time to talk to me. It is always an enjoyable dining experience. They have a wide variety of items to choose from. I enjoy their fish dishes. The restaurant has a down home feeling to it. Give it a try....you won't be sorry!!! It's right by Fort Sam Houston.

Nice & Cozy.
The owners are always very pleasant and tend to take time to talk to you. They almost make you feel that you are the only person in the restaurant. Sometimes they are very busy and may not be able to take as much time with you. I love going there in the evenings. The atmosphere is great. They have a wide selection of items to choose from. I prefer their salmon. Margarith is an exceptional cook. Right next to Fort Sam. A nice little getaway located on New Braunfels. Check it out....I'm sure you will be back for more. Tito & Margarith are truly wonderful!

Magnfico.
I consider myself to be a connoisseur and I and can guarantee you that this is the best Northern Italian and Continental food in San Antonio. I was able to sample a variety of dishes, the Eggplant Rollatini was my favorite. They specialize in all kinds of different sauces that you must try them for your self.

Delizioso Amigo.
At first glance, I almost didn't enter. It didn't appear to be much. That would have been an enormous mistake. Excellent food , warm friendly service, good wine and much fun for the whole family. A hidden treasure.
