I highly recommend this salon!!. I loved my first experience at La Dolce Vita...I have been looking for a salon in the Rochester area that did not feel like the other salons in this area!! The staff was friendly, accomodating, and knowledgeable!! I was greeted at the door with a warm smiling face, and instantly I was offered something to drink...the owner, Gina, is so nice! She will personally make it a point to say hello, and introduce herself! She thanked me for coming in to her salon, and asked if she could get me anything!! Really? The owner, get me anything? I felt as if they were there to assist me....trust me...not a feeling other area salons excel in!! Thank you for a great experience, and I will definitely be back!!

GREAT HAIRDRESSERS. I love this salon, my hairdresser Hillary is the best. What I don't like is the treatment from the front desk. I have been there twice now, and both times felt I was rushed through and treated like I was bothering them. Today I tried asking questions about skin care products...I was ready to buy- they were takuing phone calls during our attempted conversation. Finally the barefoot owner went off to the side, pulled out a bottle and set it on the counter, stating that it was great for aging skin!!! I am in my 50's, but even if I was 100 years old, you don't say that to a woman. Shame on them. And this is a SPA?

Very good salon. I liked this hair salon. The atmosfere is very nice, its is kind of fancy. Anyway the best of this place and I am sure what you are looking for it is that it has good professionals that are able to do a good work on your hair.. So, I recomend this place because has very good professionals and they do a good job. I have being trying severals salons around the area, and I did not get satisfy with the hair cut, or nails, usually you pay a lot for a poor service. Here the prices are equal to the service you get. In my understanding if a go to a place mainly a hair salon/spa and I see that the people working there, are very well dress, they are polite, their hair looks great maching their personality ( important for a hair salon), healhty, well cut. I am sure they will do a good job on my hair. So, try it. You wont be dissapointed.

Poor service. Not upscale like it claims to be. If Fantastic Sams did a spa, this would be it.. Not at all impressed. I have been to many spas and found this one to be far from upscale and not at all pampering. Staff constantly pushed haircare products on me...and the facial was nothing special. I was also charged a higher price to use a gift certificate...price suddenly increased and specials "not valid" with gift certificates. That should not be. If you are looking for upscale, this isn't it. Go to Birmingham instead.

Great staff! Very friendly!. This was my first visit to La Dolce Vita! The facility was beautiful, very spacious and private. The only negative was when I first walked in, they expected to know where to go and didn't really give me a tour until I asked where to go. But that was quickly made up for by the friendly faces that did my services! Being new in town, finding a salon can be very scary! They listened and really made sure I was happy with my hair! Great experience! Thank you!
