Amanda is a skilled and talented stylist!. I'm thrilled to have found this salon and Amanda. I have been to countless stylists since moving here from California 4 years ago, the results have ranged from okay to absolutely horrible, I am thrilled to have finally found someone who can give a great haircut, her attention to detail is amazing, when she found out that I often put my hair behind my ears she made sure that the cut would still look great that way.

Due to being very busy, the time between my first and second haircut with her was a few months, I assumed I would have to explain everything about my hair all over again, but she must have taken notes because when I did come back she was well prepared, she was familiar with my hair, and what I liked. I don't like styling products, I always find it uncomfortable to tell stylists about this because they usually prefer to use their favorite products while styling, I usually have to remind them over and over again, but not this time, I appreciated that I didn't have to mention it again, that shows a great deal of professionalism that one doesn't always see in the hair care industry.

Metro Detroit's Best Salon. Alex and Emilio's is the best salon around! It is an upscale salon with a relaxed atmosphere. It is in a great location in downtown Royal Oak.

I have been going to Alex and Emilio's now for about 5 years and have beeing seeing Dave Mo. I have visited many salons while traveling but always make it a point to go out of my way to come back to Dave. His expertise and professionalism is top notch.

Dave is a very friendly stylist with a great attitude. All around the salon has great personalities and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere everytime I visit. Every time I leave my appointment with Dave my hair looks phenominal, even better than the vision I walked in with. I walk out feeling refreshed and renewed.

If you are looking for a new salon or just want to try out a new stylist I recommend Dave Mo's services at Alex and Emilio's salon.

Love it here!. I am so crazy about who does my hair and once I found Mo(dave) I knew I was staying at this salon! He is great, friendly, and great to work with your hair!

Wonderful!. Alex Emilio is the best Salon in Metro Detroit! It is an upscale salon with down to earth stylists. I am extremely comfortable with their expertise, Dave Mo in particular… amazing scalp massage…honestly drooled! I love my hair do, the salon, and the stylists’! Highly recommended to look great and feel fantastic!

Always leave HAPPY!!. I have been going to Alex Emilio Salon for a few years now. Great energy and awesome staff!! I always leave with gorgeous hair and a huge smile on my face thanks to Dave Mo. My boyfriend and I both see Dave Mo and we trust and value his opinion on whats in style and what works best for us. I have recommended at least 4 people to him over the last year (one actually travels from chicago) they all see him on a regular basis now. I'm always getting compliments but the true compliment goes to DAVE! Keep up the good work!!

Amazing Salon!!!. This salon in Downtown RO is by far the best! My husband and I both go to Dave Mo and he is not only the best hair stylist around, but we consider him a very close friend!!! I get compliments on my hair all the time (even from strangers!)...Thanks Dave for doing what you do...you ROCK!!!

BEST salon in the Metro D!. I've been coming to see Dave Mo at Alex Emilio Salon for a few years now, and I can honestly say that not only is he a true professional, but his work is amazing. He really listens to his clients' needs and always gives an exceptional cut, color and style. He takes a lot of pride in his work and does an absolutely stellar job!! You will be hooked! Alex Emilio Salon is a first-class establishment with a friendly vibe in hip Downtown Royal Oak, and also delivers exceptional salon services. Definitely the best!

By far one of the best salons!. I've been going to Alex Emilio for years now and absolutely love it. The salon is always very busy, but never overwhelming. The staff is very talented and patient especially my hairdresser, Dave Mo, who is wonderful! He always goes above and beyond what any hairdresser has ever done for me and I'm always extremely satisfied with how my hair turns out! I would definitely refer Alex Emilio to anyone!

That's one of the best salons that I've visited! Dave Mo is one of those professionals that can never leave you upset with the result of his work, everything he does is simply AMAZING: weather it's just washing your hair or doing highlights. I recommended him to all my friends. He has a personal approach to every client and always knows what you need to change in your look to make you feel happy and confident. He is a great professional and a beautiful person as well! You definitely must have your hair done by Dave!

Awesome experience !!!. I lived for 3 years in Royal Oak and it was an awesome experience every time!

The men's haircut is reasonably priced and it was always perfect.

I even consider to get an appointment with Greg when I am back in town - no other stylist could compete so far !
