Consistenly great pizza. The best in the City. – I've been eating pizza here for well over 20 years. It is consistantly great!. I keep searching around the twin cities for something better, but there is none better.
The decor leaves a bit to be disired, but that should be resolved when the building is rebuilt AMENDED They are now in their new location and also have a liquor license, if that is import6ant nto you.
The cheese pizza is the best this side of Boston. Sausage pizza is delightful. Go for it! It is best after it has cooled for about fifteen minutes
Great pizza....Awful service – I have lived in Plymouth all my life and just never found my way to Latuff's. My husband and I went, ordered the Italian Favorite pizza. The server warned us it was spicy and it was. It was delicious! A bit on the expensive side but good.
Unfortunately the service was terrible. I had to ask 4 different people for a soda. Spicy=need more pop. I asked our server, another server, the owner and finally the bartender. We waited 10 minutes for a box and our check.
I wont be back. A $20 pizza with poor service.
The Best By Far – This is a classic, little, no frills restaurant. The food is the best and all the staff have been there forever. If you want the best lasagna and pizza in town Latuff's is it. If your in a rush give yourself alittle extra time, it's worth the wait. I can't wait for the new location across the street. The rumor is they are going to have a full bar and outdoor seating for summer at the new location. Everyone I bring here always wonders when we will meet again.
Entertainging Hangout – Latuffs is a great place for me & my friends to hangout after a long day of school. We always always enjoy the funny waiters and waitresses. It is very unique in it's own special way. WE LOVE IT!! Reminds me of home...
Great pizza, funky atmosphere, I love it – If you are wanting the latest decor and style Latuff's will not be for you, if you want a great pizza then try this one on. Pizza is thin crust which adds a nice crisp texture with a nicely seasoned red sauce topped with the ingredients of your choice. Cheese is plentiful but I will occasionally order double cheese.
I found out about Latuff's from a friend who grew up in the area. I wasn't steered wrong, I loved the pizza at first bite. Latuff's is a family run institution and has been owned and operated from the same location since about the mid-70's so you know they are doing something right.
I have not had the pasta but my wife ordered the lasagna and said it was very tasty. My recommendation would be order the pizza, that is what they are know for.
Next time out give Latuff's a try.
??? – I have recently moved to the Plymouth area and I am looking for the best pizza around this area. After reading the reviews for Latuffs I was very excited to try it!! Ummm...NO! Decent is the best way to describe it. Burnt oven taste on the crust ruined it for me. Sauce is average, diamond cut is different but not necessary. Marcellos is much better pizza up on rockford rd for your money!! I will definitely go back to try the pasta at Latuffs though...it looked really good.
It doesn't get any better then Latuff's – Relatively new to the twin cities, I have long sought a GREAT pizza.. And it just doesn't get any better then this. It is safe to say, DeLuca's in Lansing Michigan has a competitor!! Lucky for DeLuca's Latuff's isn't next door!
Overall, it's very a coffee shop atmospher. Comfort food w/ fantastic red sauce, dinner is a bit odd to eat in, but at least you can get a beer or a glass of wine.
Lets hope they hang on to their location once the new suburban strip mall shows up - how many franchises does one city need anyway?
Old School Delicious Pizza – This pizza is note worthy. Remember when you were a kid and you went out for pizza and it was a treat, it was delicious and it didn't taste like something you could bake at home or buy in the store. That is what this place is all about. The crust is unique. The sauce is unique. The service is kind of 70's style, good service. The only negative is it's slow cooking. If you are in a rush, this is not the place to go. Otherwise, you are in for a real treat.
Best Pizza In Town – I've been eating their pizza since the 70's and it's always been awesome!! The crust is thin and crisp and their sauce is perfect. It's a great neighborhood "hole in the wall" Italian restaurant.
Best lunch pizza in Suburbia – Hole-in-the wall places often turn out the best food! This place is no exception. I love searching for the best pizza around and when it comes to thin crust - this place is top notch. I recommend it for lunch primarily until they put some money into updating it from it's 20 year old decor. Order ahead of time by phone so it's close to being ready when you arrive and this is an easy 30 minute lunch! (no free refills!, make money the wonderful pie not the soda please!)
