I admire Teddies committment to many charities. My stylist, Cassandra is both experienced and accommodating. Haven't ever been disappointed in the colorists Lindsey, or Maria. Always available and proximate parking. Pleasant staff at service desk. Can't ask for more.

She has so many years of experience and she has a natural sense for what looks good. It's tough to find someone to trust with your hair but she is as good as it gets!
You want it done right, go here! – I have been going here since I was in High School and I love this place! If you are on the North Shore there isn't a better salon to go to.
I have my color done with Maria for about $100 and haircut with Lucia for about $40. Maria is great at making me look like a natural blonde with lots of little highlights and has NEVER disappointed me. Lucia does great long layers and trendy styles, plus she's so friendly and adorable.
If you want to have your hair done right, don't go anywhere else. They will make you look fabulous. Visit in December to stock up on gift certificates and receive $25 bonus for $100. They make great gifts, to yourself or someone you love.
I love Yelena, Teddie's master colorist – I spent years trying to find someone who could do a foil and make it look natural. Yelena has been a great find. She is absolutely excellent at what she does, caring, fun, and the best part is that around the hairline she makes it look so natural.
Excellent service and professional staff – I have been going to Kossof for over four years and Bendel Spa. I love it! I look wonderful when I leave and have never had a problem making an appointment.
The best place for hair and nails – .
I have been going to this salon for the last 12 years. Trust me I am highly critical of what is done to me and am very particular when it comes to my appearance, so I don’t throw around compliments easily. I have had Grace cut my hair for all those years, I keep it short and she frames it to my face...she is wonderful. My 25 year old daughter who is very particular about her long hair would not go to anyone BUT Grace. My husband is using the salon now at least once every three weeks and his hair (what he has of it) has never looked better, and our son was in for a few weeks and he needed a hair cut and he went to Grace and she did a fabulous job on very unruly hair! He was pleased to say the least. I use Maria as a colorist and she has done a wonderful job in the last few years of keeping the grey at bay, and Connie the shampoo person in that department is wonderful. Our nails are always done by Lana and they stay fresh and new looking for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. I have also used Vonda for acrylics and she is a master at making nails longer than they really are and looking so natural. Sure some of the clients (me included) have had to wait for an appointment that runs over time before us, but it is worth the wait. Remember if one person is late it makes all the other appointments a little late. My daughter has said when her wedding is planned she wants Grace to do her hair and all the bridesmaids hair and have a day at the spa too. And I almost forgot!!! Marvin and the ladies in the shampoo area are so very accommodating to all of us, and I look forward to talking with Camile at the front desk each time I come in. Thank you for the care and we would not go anywhere else. It is sad that only a few people who have complaints write reviews and that so many of the people I see there each time I am in do not write a review, they all seem to be regulars and all seem to be very pleased when they are leaving.
My mani was so bad my husband asked if I tried to do my own – To be completely honest, I'm a spa whore and have been to more than I can count. Now that that's out of the way...
I've never been to Teddie's and received a gift certificate. I booked my appointment 4 days in advance and was excited to get my sea salt mani/pedi. Sadly, the anticipation was the highlight of the experience.
My appointment was for 9am. My nail tech arrived for work at 9:10am. Nobody told her her first client was there, so she primped and gossiped until 9:25am. Finally I took matters into my own hands and went to the front desk to inquire where my nail tech was. No apologies.
Meanwhile she: told me her life story, didn't have a nail file (hello, isn't this your job?), had dirty tools, gossiped with everyone around her and actually got up several times to "take a break".
Result: Plain mani/pedi with no sea salt scrub, bubbles and streaks in my mani and a sloppy pedi. The woman never even looked at the ticket to see what services I was getting, and obviously had more important things to do.
The girl at the front desk was sweet to put a "credit" on my account for the difference in the price. Great, whatever, I am never coming back.
A Message to All... – Teddie Kossof, a trend setting stylist for over 45 years had the vision to create a place like no other...and he did just that. In April of 2010, The Salon which bears his name will be celebrating 35 years of service.
Many salons & spas have come & gone...but TEDDIES has stood the test of time.

It's great to be able to write what you feel or think about experiences, however, it is apparent when people go out of their way to put down, hurt & shame someone or something about any business.
I suggest you workout any customer service issues with the business before deciding to review them online. If you are still dis-satisfied, then perhaps the review has merit. So think about who you really hurt when you decide to say what you feel...ALL people in service-related business have the intent to provide good service.
WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE! – Do not go here. I usually go to my place in the city, however i was in the suburbs this past weekend and needed a haircut, figured i'd stop and get one. Biggest mistake ever. The lady cutting my hair had no idea what she was doing, seriously. I had to go yesterday to a different place to get it fixed. It really is the WORST haircut of my life.
We are very sorry you had a bad experience at our salon. We hope that you were able to get what you wanted at the time. It's hard to try a new salon and expect great things sometimes...it's like being a match-maker...

Alan Kossoff should be working at Race Track – Alan Kossoff, supposedely the Manager of this Salon is extremely unprofessional..You should take some lessons before you run this shop into the ground. You need to learn a few things with reference to "Customer Service"..go back to school and learn something!
So what did he do that made you write this? He has an excellent track record for delivering excellent customer service...there are many people who hardly know him that would disagree with your statements...By the way, he does have a passion for Racing...and is a very talented Driver...Teddie Kossof is a smart businessman...& his son has earned the same respect. You must have been really upset to write this...
