Unimpressive Thai. I stopped in for takeout when I couldn't find parking for the (far superior) Chaiyo. I found the Pad Thai to be bland and gummy, and the Panang Curry had no depth at all - it was just spice and coconut milk. The Basil Paradise was adequate, but not stellar. In addition, the steamed rice was either overcooked or was instant rice from a box - not a pleasant texture. All in all, not worth the $30 after tip.

Best Phad Thai in Seattle!. I enjoyed the owners delicious chow at a Thai restaurant she used to work at 10 years ago on Capitol Hill.

I was delighted to find out that she opened her own place & even delivers to my home in Shoreline!

Undiscovered Beauty. Thai Pearl is easily overlooked if you happen to be driving down Roosevelt Way. It doesn't have the flair that some other restaurants have, but the food more than makes up for it. I consider myself a Thai food connoisseur after having lived in Bangkok for a short while and having tried nearly every Thai restaurant in the greater Seattle region. Thai Pearl has consistently surprised me with the best food available. Even better: a three-entree dinner with tea and tip is under $25. It's a mysters that this place is never crowded.

I consider myself lucky to have this gem in my neighborhood.

Amazing Thai Food!. Thai Pearl is in an odd location and I found out that the restaurant had a change in ownership two years ago. The food is excellent, fresh and full of flavor. I go there often for lunch and have tried most things on the menu. I also ordered food for our staff meeting, which was delivered. Everyone enjoyed the food and said they would love to order it in the future. Someone asked why their Phad Thai was brownish not red. I asked their cook and she said that many Thai restaurants add ketchup to their Phad Thai to make it red!

A Must Try!. Thai Pearl takes great pride in their food, extremely nice people and a very clean restaurant. Open 7-days a week. Bring an appitite.
